You may need to do a throughout cleaning. There's a possibility of clots. It will be advisable to contact the dealers to seek more professional advice.

I had Fujioh twice. The outer ring cap tends to expand after washing and making it difficult to fix back. This result in misalignment and I had to use hammer to force it in place to prevent uneven distribution of fire. But I am not sure if the newer model still have such issue.

If you are looking for glass top, only Schott brand will give you the safety assurance and their logo will be embedded on the glass top.
