The photo quality is still the same. However, the ink seems to fade quite fast. After 3 months of printing onto a canon photo papers, I can barely see the picture as clear.

The shop no longer there as I have the board for years. You can try Mr DIY or online. I bought this for my brother when he bought the same oven. Do check the measurement suitable and recent reviews before order. I bought it along with their sink cum stainless steel cabinet as well as toilet bowl. Tap is $112.50 and overall spent $905 in their shop. Not only the tap is inferior, the cabinet started to rust in less than 6 months. So when HIP programme kicked in, I got all my toilet items from Bathroom warehouse and online instead.

@@worstalentscout yes, I prefer to go SimSiangChoon. You can try the one in Changi. Last year, I found this Bathroom Warehouse and got the sink, mixer x 3, shampoo racks, and towel racks from them. One of their in-house mixer leaks and they sent plumber over to check. Happened to be their mixer issue so they replaced on the spot. No cost. And as for the heaters, i got one from online sgPlumbMart in Shopee.

Microwave heat up food from inside out and takes seconds, whereas oven gradually heat food from external to internal. Hence oven can take much longer. I'm not sure what type of food you usually warm up. As oven is not only good for food like shepherd pie, lasagne, pastries, or food that requires to be brown. You can maintain the moisture of the food like spaghetti, or rice by covering up with aluminium foil and piercing some holes or leaving a small gap for the steam to escape. I do heat up my frozen mushroom soup with a slice of puff pastry completely covering the porcelain bowl in the oven at 220C for 35 mins and I got a pastry that goes so well with the mushroom soup when I don't have any bread that day. For frozen food, it can take about 30 to 45 mins at 180-220 degree celsius for single serving. Serving that is not deep. As mentioned oven heat up from exterior of the food to interior, the deeper the food, the longer it takes. Unlike microwave, you can easily get ready your frozen food within 5-10 mins on medium high. Evaluate your needs and the type of food you usually takes. Also why you want to change? Microwave is good for cooking and warming up food. Oven gives you more creative opportunity as you can bake, grill, toast and heat up some food despite it takes longer. It can do what a microwave can but longer. Whereas microwave can't provide you all the functions an oven can offer. It's up to you if you want to trade fast with more cooking options. Do take into consideration that you may need to change your bowl and plates to suits the oven.

For food taken out from fridge, a preheated oven will takes about 10-25 mins at 200C for it to be piping hot depending on the amount of food. Hence its hard to put a timing unlike microwave.

Yes, it does. Took 2 mins to reach from 30 degree celsius to 150C. (May be longer if you are staying in colder climate). Another 3.5mins to hit 200C. Yet another 4 mins to reach 240C. You need to preheat earlier if you intend to bake at 240C.

Yes, this model has auto duplex print. Printing speed 13.0 ipm black / 6.8 ipm as indicated in their spec. Duplex print 2.9 ipm black /2.8 ipm colour. Tested, took 2 +/- minutes to print an A4 photo. Personally find its slower than my previous model MG7570. Monthly recommended print in their spec is max 1500 pages. Print head can be easily replace around USD25 each head, there are 2 in this printer. Printhead supplier suggested changing it every 2 years. But so far, my previous MG7570 lasted 7 years.

When do you need to replace printhead? Where to get new printhead? I intend to get this printer, I did not replace any print head in all my previous printers.

@@jasonl4237 If any of the ink is empty, the printer will NOT be able to print at all. Regardless of which ink colour. As such, it will be advisable to stand by a full set of colour when you noticed that it is running low. Avoid keeping ink too long in your residence as the residue of the ink may settle resulting ink quality being compromised. The printhead cost SGD38.56 each (Singapore dollar) as at today directly from Canon sg. If your printer is still within warranty, it will be advisable to bring it down to the Service Centre and get it check before changing the printhead. Because if any error during changing of the printhead, may result in warranty being void. And also, some issue resulting unable to print can be from the mother board or the electric current and may not be the printhead issue. As long as it's within warranty, service is free but spare parts are chargeable if it's due to wear and tear. FYI, do note that if you are using this for photo printing, the outcome is not as sharp and precise as compared to a 6 ink cartridges printer. Apart from this, the photos actually faded off after a few months. It will be advisable to hot laminate the photo before safe keeping or displaying.

If you are purchasing in Singapore, do note that all printers from Canon Singapore DO NOT cover international warranty at all. Hence you can't bring it to overseas to use. If you are buying online, do be careful as there are online seller who shipped in from Malaysia and selling in Singapore. These printer DO NOT carry a valid serial number for you to do warranty registration online with Canon Singapore. Always check the reviews of the online seller. Check if anyone encounter registration issues. Ensure there are reasonable numbers of genuine buyers from this online seller. I hope this helps to ensure a smooth buying experience for you.

Here's the link for the spec. It indicated max gsm is 300 for the rear cassette. However, I only printed on 220gsm the max. Canon will auto use rear tray for photo print. Hence, I usually leave it as automatic.

So far so good. However, I can't comment in long run as I only have this printer for a month plus only.

I totally agree on the minimal control on the printer itself. I had a few issues especially connecting it to wifi using the printer's screen itself. But so far after connecting to my mobile directly, I am able to connect my laptop to the printer. For what I know is that this printer allows you to replace the printhead when it is worn off without sending it to the service centre. As such, I think there isn't any print head cleaning function. I am using older canon printer many years ago models and it have a print head cleaning function. Does this G6070 have print head cleaning in the software? Would you be able to print a document from laptop wirelessly to the printer? I had Fujioh twice. The outer ring cap tends to expand after washing and making it difficult to fix back. This result in misalignment and I had to use hammer to force it in place to prevent uneven distribution of fire. But I am not sure if the newer model still have such issue.
