Hey there! I am not sure if that footage will make it into another video at some point, but I essentially used the same method as on the rest of the model, but I switched the paints to Anthracite Grey and Dark Blue Grey from AK, instead of the greens. (I went brighter by adding some ivory to the Blue Grey). I hope that helps :)
Hmm... I have seen some really high quality NMM paint jobs making use of Lilac before, but somehow I have never tried it. I will incorporate it into one of my upcoming projects and see how it works :) Thanks for the tip Steven!
Haha, that was literally the plan. I thought, either storm casts or some custodes would be the perfect for a follow up video with gold. And that would be a perfect opportunity for me to practice my gold, since I haven't tried that yet on such a large surface.
It took me around 3 hours based on the footage I recorded. Considering that this was the first time I tried this method and I was also faffing around with the recording, I would say it can be done in 2- 2 1/2 hours normally.
@@ph3lansminiatures that is definitely not bad at all. Not an issue if you're army painting. I also think it's a good way to learn light placement and not focus on the smoothness to much.
Hey guys! What is your favorite NMM recipe? 😊 Now that I have this one down, I want to try out some new colors and styles.
I am still a newbie to NMM but tried going from dark to light. And i got my Airbrush.

Great video! Would love to see how you did the assault cannon barrels too!

Great video! My favorite nmm makes heavy use of AK interactive's Lilac highlighted up with ivory.

Wow, absolutely fantastic. Very cool. I must try this out!
Really enjoying the NMM videos. So helpful
Great video!
Great job. How about some gold nmm on Storm Cast?

I just can't do nmm. It's so nice on infinity miniatures. Well, we keep trying. @@ph3lansminiatures
Nice ❤
Kinda prefer the quick one, how long did that one take?
