When Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll and he has burned through eight of his nine lives, he launches an epic journey to restore them by finding the mythical Last Wish.
the slow realization puss has when he knows for once he can't do anything and is not invincible is just perfectly depicted here
50th like for this absolutely W description.
If there was ever a wolf character that fits Sergei Prokofiev’s ominous and malevolent wolf theme it’s this guy
The amount of tiny details in this scene always gets me. The fact that there are eight empty milk glasses on the counter and Puss is drinking the ninth glass, the reflection of Puss’s face in the glass in The Wolf’s hand like he’s holding his soul, the tiny scratch of irritation The Wolf does on the wanted poster when Puss says he laughs in the face of death… absolutely iconic
#dreamworksanimation nailed this villain. I was scared as heck, seeing Death’s red eyes and crescent-shaped weapons. Not to mention, his whistle sent chills down my spine. 👏👏

Does anyone notice how there was a server not too long ago and now he’s just suddenly gone? Maybe Death offed him?
Death usually doesn't kill he probably tripped and fell and died or died from a heart.
Death collects the souls, he doesn’t partake in ending their life.
Fun little coincidence but if you compare Deaths voice to Wolf from Star Fox Zero it is a SHOCKINGLY close match
For some reason, I think Death not only wants to take Puss' last life, but he also wants to teach him a lesson about the importance of life, since the latter was so careless in wasting his eight lives.
