Hey Mike I've been a long time subscriber. I'm going back to this video because I want to watch a young child's reaction to Dimebag playing the solo. I just found out I'm never going to be a grandfather and my heart hurts and I need to see a child discovering new things because my heart hurts... I guess my heart is hurting because I know that I will never be able to play with a little baby again or a small child on my lap after having five kids and having lost one in a fire?.. and I also just wanted to watch Dimebag play a solo and not have to think about that horrible man who I will never say his name for the rest of my life that took his life away from him
Should be made a law that parents are required to introduce Pantera to each kid they have!!! I'm running for president and if you vote me into office, I promise that this law will be in effect immediately and will be named Panteras law
Pop is in violation also by playing overtop of Dime! 😂. For real tho I love seeing parents teach and let their kids listen to actual music instead of this bs computer rap and pop music
Just watching this live performance in video form is one of the most important moments in my life so I can't even imagine being there in person. I am jealous! lol
Mozart stimulates the part of the brain that develops math and higher thinking skills. Pantera makes me want to nurture a grudge with my neighbors for putting their trash too close to the property line. Pantera fan by the way.
I'm a guitarist played for 20 years now and I still can never get my head around how clean dimes solos are live. He was wasted 99% of the time and its always 100% on point. There's one of pantera home videos wheres he's walking around with a mini amp in the street and he manages to bust out a studio quality solo always blows my mind
The one thing about... when he says "you think daddy is a good guitar player, watch this guy" before the solo. Even if you are better than dime, you never say you are better than dime. Respect
I love it. I wish my dad showed me Pantera as a kid. Pantera is such an under appreciated band. So much blues, groove , and funk mixed into there metal sound. I respect there rhythm section as one of the best to do it in any genre
Maybe they're underappreciated now, but in the 90s they were hardly anything but that. I was lucky enough to see them a few times, and it was always sold out and a half. I saw Phil play the first Pantera cover show with the Illegals at the Marquis in Denver a couple years back and it was like 50 people. We raged it for sure, and it sounded great, but yeah, a far cry from the good ol' days.
Pantera isn't under appreciated. Compared to Metallica or Iron Maiden yes, but still Pantera is definitely another metal giant who marked music history forever. Lamb Of God for example is under appreciated. They're the modern Pantera imo.

Your son’s metal face at 4:45 (followed by the booger pick and wipe😂🤣☠️) was awesome!!! And you’re raising him right with the “don’t stop it there” during the solo.😜 Awesome job!!!
I love the way your son reacts to this. Love how he emulates the motions of Dime and Vinnie. And that scream at the end, just awesome!! Although I'm a metal head, I grew up with a plethora of music in my life. I've seen Orchestra's, Country concerts, Musical plays, Jazz, Blues and rock shows from all over the globe. Yet still to this day, Rock and Metal are my go to music. Keep going with these types of vids that include your son and family. May you all stay safe and healthy!! Peace from Western Ky!!
Me and my son (19 months old lol) jam out to Pantera, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Gov’t Mule and so many other bands that have shaped my upbringing. Glad to see more dads doing the same. Love the content btw!
Oh man, it feels so good seeing you two having so much fun watching this video ! I'm always wondering if I am not giving my 2 y.o. too much of this sh*t. Every time mom's away, it is pure metal or any hard stuff in our ears. To see them headband as soon as music goes crazy is priceless. Thanks for the sharing Michael. Ohhh by the way, Pantera stays the best heavy band of all time and Dimebag god above all !

I believe what I enjoy the most out of this video is that it's a pure reaction. Not trying to simulate what is happening on the guitar or pausing very frequently. It shows how amazing and inspiring Pantera was as a band. You just couldn't stop watching the video, even though it is apparent you know the song, due to the knowledge of the breakdown. I was just as entranced as you and I love that. Musicians should always find themselves unable to admire other musicians when it is warranted and I thank you for allowing me to see that in this video. Keep it up, my friend.
@nynetynyne Thats whats up. I respect that, in a world full of crap there is still plenty of great things to listen to. Keep it up, you are guys wonderful!
