- Hi everyone! I can't reproduce exactly the sound and the way how Dimebag played, but I tried my best. I hope you enjoy! I wanted for a long time to make this cover and I'm glad that finally I made it. Rock on \m/

Gear used:
The guitar is a Dean ML Dime Slime.
For audio I used Helix plugin into Reaper via focusrite solo.
For video I used Canon 650d and an Iphone 11 PRO.

Oh Dimebag. Always replicated but never replaced. R.I.P. brother. And you too Vince. I grew up in west Fort Worth in the 80s and 90s. I have lots of personal memories of the brothers. Hell I still have his "Fuck You I'm From Texas" shirt he gave me at his house back in 96.
It is awsome that you knew such great musicians and you have memories with them \m/ I believe that no one can replace anyone, especialy in the hearts of those where you was unique

Pantera had a big influence in my style and I learned from listening to Dime how to phrase, how to do accents, how to groove, even how to blues.. and more than that: how to listen and feel what I’m playing, that frequency, exploring intervals.. such a great man 🤘🏼🤘🏼

@Andrei-bh6mt yep dime was definitely one of a kind. Watching him play just looks so effortless and natural. I'm just starting to learn how to play guitar so I definitely understand how difficult it is to play. If you ever get bored I would love to watch you shred cemetery gates.

Im massivaly jealous of that dime slime... I had the opportunity to buy one when they were in production, but went with the Select ML in quilt tobacco burst instead. I don't regret my decision because it's a phenomenal guitar, but I really wish I had been able to pick up one of the dime slimes also.
When I bought this one I wanted the tobacco burst 😹 I was surprised how good this slime looked when I unpacked but I managed to achieve one tobacco burst also 😂🤘🏼

that’s the plugins. I saw that if reamping with different amps results in a massive sounds (in my opinion, judging on my taste). Same hand but different voices all combined 💪🏼🍻🤘🏼

Love this man i own a dime stealth Thinking bout getting a dean ml slime is it worth?
If you are not into guitars that sharp, this une has nice curves for corners. Regarding how good it is, i think the stealth has better quality. But the slime, it ain't bad \m/ Thank you for your comment

Sounds great but I suspect you’re in standard tuning. This is one of those songs that dime tuned down 1/4 step. Slaughtered is the same way. It drove me crazy when I tried to play along with the song myself. It never sounded quite right until I tuned to the song itself.

You suspect but not 100%😹 The guitar is tunned ~1/2 step down, it’s between E and Eb with 40 cents distance to the E 💪🏼🤘🏼I played this song more than I listened to it, I am used to hear it in this tunning😹 but nice that you have such a thin hearing to recognize the pitch, it was close 🤘🏼🤘🏼
@@Andrei-bh6mt on my boss tuner the second flat red light sounds the closest I’ve found. Some say it’s a at 438 instead of 440hz.

I'll tell you but you need to keep the secret: it's just luck :)) I am joking :d there are 2 guitars full panned left and right with different tones, amp models.. they are not sounding good when are played solo, but sounds masive when are combined. After those 2 guitars with tight mid scooped tone, there is the 3th guitar panned on center with a mid boost, your tipical "all distorted channel". It's a good receipe, at least for y tastes:)) thank you \m/

@@godricluizponce7442 depending on what you want to play, there are some pro and cons from my pov:
- it is easier to shred on high frets because you still have “space” for moving and the 12 fret is exactly the middle so there is an easier view of the neck
- neck pickup is placed closer to the bridge and takes different vibrations, so you had different tones
- you had that extra octave on string
In my case I like to play my stuff on strat necks with hss configuration and 21 frets, i love that tone that gives you the single coil in the neck position
I would say to try them both, or maybe own them both 😹
