Kindly give me some practicable exercises to play Harmonium professionally. Though I have learnt carnatic now and then for 6-7 years under several gurus, due to life's compulsions I started doing aggressive Harmonium practice only two years back. Now I can play almost all songs except some which are little bit hard to understand like 'urupadis' of some complicated ragas etc. I beg sorry for taking your time in narrating my personal story. Namaste Sir, Your lesson is very good,correlated beteeen Carnatic and Wesren Music,Thank You Sir. I also done same Work on Correlatiion between Carnatic and Westen ,I found equallant Carnatic.My Observation 72 Mela kartha in corponding in Westen Scales,Only 30 or 35 Scales in Westen Scales are equallant to carnatic 72 Mela Scales Other Scale naybe existor not for me.Un Westen Musuc has 400 Scales, I observed some are equal to Carnatic Scales, Another Scale maybe exist ,I made Another Corresponding Scales in Westen, and gave it some name to new westen Scale based on Carnatic Music,For exaple ,Lathangi(Carnatic)=Lydian b6,another exaple Chakravakam in Carnatic =MixoLydian b2 The Same Scale maybe and maynot exict in Westen Music .Thank You Sir.

Hi sir - All notes you are starting from C note, however i have a doubt - if we change from C to D or to E note, Do all other corresponding notes also change to same interval.Can you explain that in one video.
Why iam asking this is, not necessary that everyone will start the note in C someone may start from E and some from F.pls clarify this.i am trying to compose a song in carnatic raga and this will help me.

Idhu enakku kastamaa irukku anna. Oru tune potadhuku soram adhu enna time signature la irukku nu epdi kandupidikkanum ???
