For Monsters and Memories you were in a Stress test. Not a gameplay test. They were trying to break the severs to find the mem leaks and cascading code. If you get into M&M now you are helping the build. They seem to be very realistic about their time line saying the first payable build is at least 2 years away. Still it is a good time helping out and seeing where they want the game to go. From the small things like killing a mob with fire alone will drop Cooked Meat. To things like to find NPC's you have to talk to guards or other NPC's, sometimes you must find hidden tunnels to get to hidden guilds. There is no floating map with blinking icons, you have to explore and for the old school people that has been missing for a while now. Cheers.
Thank you for the comment. Getting into M&M was a last minute rush to try it out, so thanks for clarifying that it was a stress test. I'll be keep following the game and testing along the way as it develops further. I did actually speak to the guards but they weren't very helpful 😅
