best suited mmo for me, raiding, random pvp modes that is balanced, and overall side quest that can be done in 3 days is casual enough for a busy person like me
Tarisland is very much the band your parents raved about when you was young that you just hated and thought was lame but now with age you now appreciate and enjoy
I'm shocked at how fun it actually is. Love the dungeons and raids. I've even done a bit of pvp and not hated it (I rarely pvp these days). I was looking for a WoW killer but more importantly FREE no sub and this is it for me. First time I have enjoyed a new MMO since WoW and FFXIV. Never really got into others. I will play this until I get sick of it or until they ruin it with an update making it too much pay2win (hopefully that won't happen). I love the fact it's completely free and I can dip in and out whenever I want. I hate subscription models now lol. This is exactly what I was looking for :D
I'm with you 100%! Enjoying the Dungeons & Raids and the PvP is quick and fun, surprising because I usually hate PvP. Going to keep going while it's still fun and see what happens!
Maybe not a perfect MMO in first launch. But i do enjoy play tarisland until now. I first play on Open Beta. I like the mechanical raid so satisfied to play. I do wait for new updates
I tried it and got thrown in lvl 41 at start with lots of confusing things.. the world feels big but doesnt seem to reward exploration and feels empty. All the dungeons i tried i was in a group with bots so that was boring too. So far its not what im looking for.
Just started playing it on PC. WASD and the camera is a little off to what Im used too, cant put my finger on what but I wish I could get it to behave what I prefer.. like other MMOs (WoW probably in more particular)
I tried to play the game for the first time now. And I am so disappointed compared to its first release. If you play now, you will be thrown into a storyline where no guidelines whatsoever. Your character will be level 40 and you'll have to follow a story quest to which you don't have any idea what's happening. The skills, ui interface, skills and other stats mechanic are just overwhelming.
Yeah best mobile mmo released so far. I also liked the pvp it's very fun. This is a decent game to play if you got free time. The game will defentialy be successful long term but mostly for casuals. And I hate that nothing is shared on other characters. Specially when you buy a battle pass or monthly pass. But they do this to get more money. Otherwise a pretty decent game. We will see how it holds up a month or two down the road
Mobile has a setting on the Basic menu at the bottom of the page which says "Free Camera" or "Fixed Camera", with Free Camera you can zoom and move things a lot better.
Paid youtuber, "lots of things to do" yeah, in like max 2 hours per day, everything is time gated, all your character progression and gear is great until 1 week after all the raid difficulties are live, then it's meaningless because the catch up mechanics are so desperate to keep people invested and spending money on cosmetics that all your progression can be achieved in 1 day instead of progressing each day for a whole week. You didn't talk about the shady gatcha system where you buy keys to have a chance to drop an item with less than 0.01% of drop, and if you do the math you realize that cosmetic item set or mount costs thousands of dollars spent in an RNG "loot box"-esque chance of getting it...
Most UK based channels have this extremely annoying tendency to narrate their script as if they were a news show on TV, with almost a different voice and a different demeanour. Please stop this. Just speak to us as you would in a regular human conversation. We watch channels like yours because we can relate to you. So dont turn into the BBC 8pm news in your tone and your script. Still gave you a like for your decent video, keep up the good work.
Thank you for the feedback. My voice is naturally very corporate sounding, its a curse! But I will take onboard what you've said and let the BBC know I'll be in for an interview next week 😅
@KlassiusK Ignorant comment. Nothing wrong with the way the guy is talking at all. Sounds perfectly normal to me. If you find this is a problem with ‘most uk based channels’ then maybe the problem is actually with you, and your understanding and interpretation of the English language, rather than it being a problem with all English people lol
@ekowatta8505 I've lived in London my whole life, and i love the British accent. However, there is a big difference between the everyday speechcraft and tone and the TV news speechcraft and tone. Not sure if you live here in the UK, but if you did you would understand what i mean, and what is eventually a "preference".
The world feels soulless. It looks beautiful, but it feels empty. There's no reason to attack mobs since you don't gain XP from them; they're just there for quests.
@@KillianJenkinsFood for thought: Instead of wanting an MMO to change into a different genre to cater to your casual needs look for a game which is not an MMO. And if you say that WoW is not accessible ..even for hypercasuals then you clearly didnt play with in the past ~8 years.
This game is terribly boring at end game. Not enough content, PvP buffs are outrageously powerful. Other than just doing a raid and some bg not much left to do. I have enjoyed playing it tho
Yeah I've got to the point already where I login to do my dailies and then hop off again. Have 1-2 big nights per week where I run all of the raids back to back and that's about it
These days mmorpg is bad, the classic ones like 4story are the best, but 4story is old and the graphic is old but if they make a new graphic the game will be the best, the pvp in these new mmorpgs is only arena or battle ground... not on activity maps
idk, i couldnt ever see myself wishing for a new 4story rather than a fresh and modern mmorpg take e.g. by riots project we might see until year 2215.. or a guild wars 3 with strengths of 1 and 2 with some refreshments of new ideas.
@@MericatCi every new mmorpg chinese or korean are the the same, all asian mmorpg are the same i mean the concept, if you played 4s many years ago you know you can pvp on every map, and you must chose a kingdom
It's always going to be hard for a new MMORPGs to match the effect the classics had on us back in the day. I love playing older MMOs because its just nostalgic but I try to give these more modern games a chance even though it's unlikely they will keep hold of me for a long time - nothing will ever compare to Tibia in 2002 for me!

Solo pve with npc you cant do that in mmorpg make up mind you cant be have both. Offline Rpg are good why not just make an offline game imagine going online to play with other players only to be put with bots and play offline mode its stupid no thanks that tells me i should never touch this game.
The problem is that they haven't added any kind of "Random Dungeon" queue so players have no reason to go back and do the dungeons, so if it wasn't for the NPCs new players basically couldn't do the content. Would much rather they just add random dungeons & rewards so that new players can experience the dungeons without the awful bots

Worst MMO I played in years. every single aspect is done badly. from the boring skills you can't really tweak to your liking. not really, the worst crafting system in any game ever. the soulless boring dungeon battle. everything is gated. every item is the same. stopped after 4 days. really one of the worst I ever played.
I can sympathise with your frustrations for sure. I do enjoy sparkly new MMOs because they are very few and far between. I've enjoyed playing Tarisland but I can see why people would be put off and there's certain things that I dislike but just willing to see how things pan out over the first month or so of the game

With the accommodating aspect towards mobile, there's numerous things that likely feel a bit off compared to other PC focussed MMOs

Is it the best mobile mmo? Nah, it's just like evry other one with a different skin.
I disagree this actually plays like an mmo. It’s not as good as wow or ff but the raids and dungeons are good. It’s a fairly legit mmo

Yeah the overland world is basically pointless, and there's just not enough overland world either
As of right now the game is dead .
Not at all, arena and battleground ques going off almost
raids going on all day along with arcane
The game will never be for hardcore no lifers, gaming laws in China don’t allow that lifestyle and the game is designed with that restriction in mind.
I think everyone should do the ingame survey and give feed back i like this game more then wow cause its not as complex and on mobile
Yeah I agree. It’s got the WoW vibes but it’s just way more accessible, has some long term potential but really all comes down to the Devs
WoW should have made their game accessible a decade ago, but as expected blizzard is stupid and lost millions of potential players including you
