Mower First Start in 15 Years

Installed a new carburetor, replaced head gaskets, cleaned and adjusted the valves. Started on the first try after installing a new battery.

Installed a new carburetor, replaced head gaskets, cleaned and adjusted the valves. Started on the first try after installing a new battery. Still need new tires and a blade engagement cable.
I'm having to hot wire it because the switch is bad. For some reason, it wouldn't shut off. I had to get up off the seat to kill it.
