This routine is so good for my lower back which keeps reminding me I should stretch and/or do pilates/yoga on a regular basis. And when I don't, it hurts. So thank you again & again ❤
I've followed heaps of UA-cam pilates classes but yours are impeccable. They're difficult when I want them to be, but also can be easy while I'm nursing a leg injury (shin splints). Thanks Katja!

I'm doing this routine every morning now, to get rid of the back aches that build up during the night. My lower back feels more mobile and stable, and the aches are much lower after these exercises. As a bonus, I also feel more connected and calm. It's therapeutic.

This is my 6th sessions. My slip disc has improved tremendously. Thank you Katja.
Until I tried your Pilates classes I have never really understood what Pilates is about. I tried it every now and then but almost always I would find myself in a yoga class instead, thinking it's a superior form of workout. However, I finally understood the difference. In yoga you move with the breath, which seems so natural and really helps to connect mind and body. In Pilates the movement seems to happen on an exhale and almost always from abdominals which makes me really aware of the alignment of my body. I have tilted pelvis which at times can cause a lot of pain in the lower back, however these classes finally helped me feel and understand what's happening in my lower back and abdominals and how to control/balance it throughout the day. Still a long way to go for me.

Sooo good! Thank you so much! I've been having pain in my hip and glute left side for so long, tried so many rehab excercises, yoga, etc. Your instructions really made me connect with my inner muscles, the right muscles. Took a lot of focus and concentration and gave me a release and could do the movements without pain!

Hi, first, thank you for this video. How would someone with weak deep abdominal muscels know if they are using the right muscels. Should pelvic floor also be engaged? What if my muscels aren't strong enough to allow even this simple exercises? I'm recovering from my second pregnency and have encountered bad lower back pain. I'm using this video to strenghten my core and eliviate back pain. Thank you again for these videos, especially in these times

thank you for your msg. After pregnancy, it may take a little while for you to 'feel' your deep abdominals again. Because the muscles have been stretched so much during pregnancy and combined with hormones (which make the muscles go softer) it may be more difficult for you to feel them to start with. Place your hands on your lower tummy and use them to help you give feedback, draw abdomen away from your hands, also visualise right and left side of your abdomen 'knitting back' (closing) together. Yes, try engage pelvic floor muscles as well. Keep patient - and enjoy your baby :) 🙏🏼
