The contrast of the basketball court compared to the old soviet architecture looks onreal. Its like a unicorn vomited in 1984 George Orwell's novel. It looks really good nice job.
Same. I want to get into spray painting so bad, but it’s illegal everywhere in the US and I’m really not comfortable going to some shady area in the middle of the night just to make art. I have no idea how people become commissioned mural artists here when it’s so damn hard to build a portfolio.
@@NcMuggets It’s not hard , you can do it in day time , just wear a mask and you will never be caught unless your doing it right next to a cop car , what state you live in?
7:55 - good point! especially when you work with yellow and orange - in my last video i used exactly that effect, to fill the whole canvas in yellow and still having the firstlines visible... Dope conclusion!
I didn't know this was gonna turn into a make-up tutorial! Your eye liner looks amazing, and how many artists are only lining ONE eye?! I see a trending practice coming soon!
I was just thinking if you were fascinated by graffiti as a kid because it took ugly grey places and made them colorful and interesting. And now, you take those very places and make them beautiful for the next generation. Good guy Doke, keep on rocking!
Man, that looked like it hurt when you got paint in your eye. However if you decide to wear some blue eyeliner you can totally rock it. Makes your eyes pop. 😄
Absolutely sick, beautiful work! And i love to hear what the people in the area say about your work and how transformative and powerful art can be! Keep it up, man! Great stuff.
Magnifique projet, vous avez réussi à mettre de la couleur dans ce paysage gris et de façon belle. Le terrain en devient un réel lieu de vie et de rencontre entre les habitants et ça « que » par de la peinture ! Un bravo de la France
Can I just say that the blue eyeliner in one eye might be your thing 🤭. Awesome video! And the piece is Amazing! Keep doing great things Doke, much love!
I agree with Smore NWC I already loved what you do, but i realy don't have any words outside of appreciation, Love, and inspiration behind what you all did here. Please don't stop expressing yourselves to others.
There is a tool called a string line, you tap a nail in to one end of your line on the wall and unwind a chalk covered piece of string to the other end. Pull the string tight and then tap a nail in and wrap the end your holding around it, make sure it's pushed down the nail touching the wall and then go to the middle of the string, pull it out from the wall 3 ish inches and then release. Perfect straight lines of chalk dust every time. Just don't do it on anything that is finished, obviously, do it during the drafting stage 🔨
Looks very google like! Ya know like when there's an error page or google trying to get you to try a new feature, or an accessibility setting it gives you an image like this, i like it!
Was the blue writing you put up after preparing the white just to keep people from tagging your fresh wall? Or do you use the characters as reference points for the larger piece
please DO ALSO GRAFFITI, "REAL GRAFFITI PAINTING" LIKE THE PREVIOUS YEARS I mean you don't have to stop painting murals but you must do graffiti, with letters you know... we (old subs) wont to see also graffiti, plase do it. Baydeaway nice mural and nice trow-ups
Hello, I admire your art a lot, could you give me some advice or explain why you use geometric figures, it is more facial like that? And how can I use them?
The art is enough to push the (back 10 sec) button, but I keep finding myself in awe of the effort. If just 5% of this work ethic would overflow to others we'd have a beautiful art filled world.
what kind of paint did you use?because it is on the ground that people will paly and paint will be destroyed easy im just curious about it because i have mural company
I been subbed for a Lil while, I was wondering why do you paint random squiggly lines , shapes , and letters in the rough draft of the artwork? Thank you.
It's an amazing piece, it looks so nice and bright! Question, how do u do the doodle guide thing? Like can u do a tutorial on it or explain on how/what to do? It would be nice if u could. But amazing piece, awesome
New Viewer but I love your work and this is the first Art themed channel I have subscribed too, normally tech. Keep up the great and work love from the USA!
sorry if it's already in the comments but what was the reason for all the "coding" in blue that you ended up covering in white after the outline? Is that just to let other artists know its progress in work?
The colors bleeding from the wall onto the court is a genius move. Looks amazing.

This was so well said. I wholeheartedly agree too!!
I couldn't describe it better
Wow did not know this was soviet architecture
Thats why we need art
Interesting comparison…
so awesome to see people brightening up the community and giving it life and color. I wish spray painting was more acceptable in the US

Awesome project, such a breath of fresh air with these bright colors in between all the gray 16:40
Thought the same thing.
We should all take a lesson from south america
The colors look so refreshing to the original and your art brings the court to life amazing job.
I imagine the kids loved it! It looks awesome! Such a bright spot in a dull surrounding. Magnificent! 🤩
That old lady had no idea what a burner that was. 😱 god level wildstyle.
Neither did i. And I've been into graffiti for 25 years.
6:25 well there’s some good news…. You’d absolutely KILL IT in blue eyeliner
😂😂
Oh yeah, nice as hell make up

That's why graffiti is here to shake things up with lots of creative ideas from many artists and famous artists to inspire others.
What a real Gem of that neighborhood! BRAVO! Beautiful talent from a Beautiful Man. Peace.

This one is so rad! Look how you added so much beauty and color to this drab area.
Yeaaa beautiful BRILLIANT contrast from any view of wax old gray dreary buildings.
Doke looks like he about to go a rave with that blue eyeliner 😂😂
LOVEEEEEE THISSSSS! Amazing to see all the reactions at the end too, great job DOKE :)
Doke you did awesome! Fight the grey and give people a bit of joy and hope in their lives.
It’s so pretty how you are able to bring designs and colors to life brightening up the city! I really like it!
The basketball court looks so stunning and bright and your art looks really great too together. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Loving the zero outlines too.
Shame the second wall painter missed the top of the wall, but looks absolutely fantastic

I've never used that brand of paint, but it shocks me a bit that it is so transparent. Super dope mural. The outcome is pretty epic.

That is a pretty cool project, good to see it bringing people together.
Lovely!! You should consider to make more ASMR videos :)))) Watching the process made me smile and the result touched my heart
That design is very 80's. Idk why, it just makes me think of something you'd see back then. Very cool.

Always interesting to step out of your comfort zone and paint something new and different, looks great btw

I'm loving this man. Great job!
May I ask why all the random letters and that in blue on the blank wall at the beginning, just to colour over it?
So he can sketch the drawing and make it easier to transfer the proportions to the wall
That bit of blue actually suited ya. Should have added orange on the other side for contrast XP. Dope art as always!
Such a nice work man. I love it. ❤😍
