Tip for Extinguisher: You need to put some kind of nozzle that is very thin at the end of the tube where the paint comes out of the extinguisher to get a much stronger and high pressure output.
Tip from engineer: if you reduce the whole nozzle and internal hose size you wont have such large pressure differences when initially pressing the valve. Also drill and tap a fitting into the wall or base of the can to pressurize with a shutoff valve after you drop the paint in from the top, turn upside down and fill with high pressure air.
@DokeTV check out this German video, JUST explains it very well. And I'm not sure but he has another way to fill the fire extinguisher ua-cam.com/video/KPaRKHsIRUo/v-deo.html
If you get a longer hose, get the extinguisher pressure into the green zone, and a decent nozzle you could get an amazing variety of effects and efficiency from it as well
What you need to look for is "Class A water fire extinguisher". You're using a class B/C dry powder extinguisher. You be better off with a liquid/water based (class A) fire extinguisher designed to work with liquids. Find one that already has a schrader valve (the kind on a bicycle/car tire). Remove the schrader valve pin and fill the extinguisher through the hose (liquid will go in the hose as air comes out the schrader valve) then replace the schrader valve pin and pressurize the extinguisher using your pump. Will be much easier than what you are trying to do here. Emailed you...I like to commission a piece.
This video is one of my favorites. Hearing you speak in your own language is awesome, and for some reason I love hearing you cuss. It’s hilarious. Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. I’ve been following for over a year now and I’ve never been disappointed. Not even once. Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊
Damn already million followers.. i remember i followed you since the start when i still used to do graffiti.. you even followed me on instagram for some time bcuz you didn’t have much fanbase at that time.. about your other videos i have to say you’re doing really good thing to your city and and it’s awesome to see you get opportunities to do it.. Big respect Doke
You definitely made it 1000x more difficult on yourself with those extinguishers. I had some as a kid that I played with all the time, that had a basic valve you could connect a bike pump to. No fighting against the pressure to hold the pump in place, and you didn’t have to squeeze the trigger while pumping.
As a fire safety technician, my method of getting tough nozzles off is to use a good sturdy work bench and just slam the whole canister on its side with the handles hanging over the edge. Squeeze the two parts of the handle together and apply downward force with your dominant hand while beating the side of the extinguisher on top of a table. It might take two or three good whacks ( and it's loud ) but there's no tools needed and you shouldn't break the gauge off. Here in the U.S. they're supposed to be serviced every 6 years. I mainly do restaurant kitchen suppression systems but every once in a while I'll have to empty and refill a hundred of these things in a day. It sucks. *** What you should have bought is one that is meant to hold water and not that sodium bicarbonate powder or whatever. Also the hose threads into the top part so every company has its own adapter to screw into the head for re-pressurizing.....the things you have look like they were made to inflate pool toys or an air mattress. Some of the "Water cannon" type of extinguishers ( they're always chrome/ silver, not red ) will have a schrader valve so they're actually able to be pressurized with a bicycle pump. Hope that helps. For what it's worth: I'm a "writer" myself and I cant stand seeing this kind of shit 3 stories tall around my city. I think the trend has definitely died off, thankfully. Great tool if you wanna just vandalize a building for no good reason. I mainly use my big ass water cannons to own my nephews in squirt gun fights.
Some of the older fire extinguishers are refillable and also have a filling valve like one on a car tire, in which you can fill them up with gas station air pumps
In this session, I catched this activities containing 50% of hard work, 20% fun, 20% swearing and 10% of spraying activity. But overall it was blessed by God
DOKE's energy, personality, and humor is the stuff of legends. Oh...and then there's the raw talent... 😆 Don't ever change brother! Thanks for the continued ruler content.
You were not kidding about fast shipping. It took 5 days to get from Slovakia to Colorado in the states. Amazing work my friend!! Super happy about my merch :)
If you modify the hose from the broken one you could make a proper threaded connector for pressurising the new one. Also a garden hose head fitted would allow different spray patterns.
My bro sir Doke your killin me hahahaaa, I had to stop the video here to say that there are fire extinguishers that have actual one way bike/car valve connections to re pressurize so so much easier and mess free! Cheers Leigh from Goldcoast Aus!!
Pro tips : 1. while emptying the extinguisher flip it upside down so you let the gas go out and not making mess. 2. to open the extinguisher lay it down and beside a curb or a stair and hold it then step on the handle hard and it'll open quickly kinda like he did at 05:02 3. in the end of the tube (the housing) put something like the stuff that comes with hand pumps on the end of it to make it more better and less consuming. 4. if your extinguisher has no valve like this one you can drill a small hole in the top of it and put a screwable shredder valve so it'll make it 99 times easier to fill. 5. use darker colors so you get better results while spraying. 6. if you put more paint than air the pressure will empty faster and the opposite is true . 7. want to get the best extinguishers go to a parking lot. 8. as Doke said don't try this but who cares it's fun asf. 9. don't over fill it or u'll end up making a paint-nuclear bomb. 10. don't die and keep up
You need to set it up with an adjustable nozzle. Should be much more out of that, and that's pretty much bigger thicker letters! You can do better! Also, you can probably filthy vessel up 150 psi. At your own very extreme potential risk. Just think logically about it, if max pressure is showing 90 to 100 PSI, the margin for safety is probably significantly higher then your standards pressure vessel the fact that it is specifically designed to be near Fires at extreme temperatures that would lower it's integrity.
Remove the pressure gauge and replace with a standard tire valve. Modern rogue did it to spray mustard. The gauge on the compressor is enough to tell you start pressure.
Try to fill it to the green, use a longer hose with a smaller diameter nozzle so you can aim a little easier, maybe put a strap on it so its not as heavy(heard you struggling with the wide hose) absolutely loved the video Doke! Hope to see a part 2
you could make a fitting hole inside of the fire extinguisher and put a tirevalve inside of it. Mostly at every Gasstation you can put maybe 5bar of pressure inside of it. i think with more pressure you could paint with more details.
You could have tried if a muzzle or what is called, a restriction on the end of the pipe, could make it more similar to a huuuge fat cap, like 50 cm diameter... I was expecting just that in the end, but it didn't came.
This work better with a bigger extinguisher. You can have more air in it with the same volume of paint. Also a skinny nozzle at the end of the hose make for a longer throw. And finally I found that 140-150 psi bring the gauge right in the green and it makes for an amazing result lol
try an high pressure cleaning pistol (pneumatic cleaning gun) for your compressor, it as a very similar function of fire extinguisher (it use venturi effect) but you can have a continous 4-6 Bar of pressure
Probably late to comment this but drill and tap a vale on the actual tank and you can just hook up to that and get better pressure and it will make it super easy. (I built a flamethrower this way). I really hope you get around to reading this I absolutely have always loved this channel keep up the absolutely beautiful art man!!
In the states we use chrome one's and they have like a tire valve to fill them with air.. They have a pressure gauge so you know how much air to put in it..
To fill the extinguisher you need like a bicycle type fill valve you may need some reducing fitting to adapt the extinguisher hole down to the fill valve. Then you just hook your air hose to it, fire up your compressor press the handle and fill to greenzone release handle remove air hose and fill valve attach hose and spary babay
What was in the fire extinguisher before trying this, the valves are different a water extinguisher uses a spray nozel, powder ones will have a jet nozel
Wow. I spent the first half of the video wanting to jump on a plane to visit so I can show you how to do it without destroying the fire extinguisher. You also have to drill a hole and instal a bike pump valve (1 usd) on the side to fill it up with air to pressurize.
you didn't need a generator/compressor at all. you could just take it to a gas station where they have the section where you put air in your car's tires. in the US it's like $1 for the service
Garden sprays beat extinguishers all day in my opinion, beats all the hassle of pressurizing them filling them etc! You can get 50L garden sprayers on wheels with a manual hand pump built in!
doke awsome video but.... you can just fill the whole fire extingguiser and then put presure on it because the air you put in pusses the paint down and if you want to shoot further you need to tighten the muzzle
you should pressurise the tanks till there int he green area and you also don't always have to hold down the handle and you can get a fitting for converting the thread on the air compressor tot he same size thread as the hose and pressurise till you just about to get on the high pressure side of green on that gauge 100-110psi is what id fill and 8 litre extinguisher to and i normally only half fill with 4-5L of paint in an 8L extinguisher
Bro..I recommend you get the silver or chrome looking fire extinguisher, they are the best for what you need..I'd like to thank GUFE & BUKET for providing me with my first back in 06..
when trying to open it I would use the cold from it decompressing and then heat the top of the can... but that is not something most will think of in the moment.
Bring it back but drill and tap a valve stem so you can pump it up with the bike pump into the green area and like other are saying reduce the nozzle to get a smaller spray
Pro tip get the silver fire extinguishers. They have a valve to pressurize them already on them and they are filled with water. Easy pick up from a car wash...
There's gotta be a way to pressurize that differently....so that you aren't putting air in the same place the water is coming out...kinda hard to get a decent pressure like that
Tip for Extinguisher: You need to put some kind of nozzle that is very thin at the end of the tube where the paint comes out of the extinguisher to get a much stronger and high pressure output.
Yeah. I was thinking; Doke: Aren't you an engineer?
This guys kind of silly for not knowing that honestly
Tip from engineer: if you reduce the whole nozzle and internal hose size you wont have such large pressure differences when initially pressing the valve.
Also drill and tap a fitting into the wall or base of the can to pressurize with a shutoff valve after you drop the paint in from the top, turn upside down and fill with high pressure air.

Do not use your finger 😂
the video was reeeeeeaaallly funny. I love to see you suffering. hahaha, so sad there was not enough pressure for the IC ;-)
So evil Smoe 😂
The struggle was real trying to remove the nozzles hahahaaa Cheers boys LOve all your work!!!!!!!
6:07🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dat mean smoe I saw you met graffitibloq
But it will be funnier if anybody were at the other side from the wall at this moment🤣
If you get a longer hose, get the extinguisher pressure into the green zone, and a decent nozzle you could get an amazing variety of effects and efficiency from it as well
Kidult!
Dude you read my mind❤
Yeah he needed to connect a fitting to his air gun that fits the air extinguisher then pressure it to green. He should of done a little more research
Should’ve used a better paint mix too. Stupiiiiiiid

This is pure comedy! Big ups, loving the energy Doke!!!
Yeah right, laughing my ass off when he tool the extingusher ;D
Doke - "Don't do it"
Also Doke - "BUT JUST IMAGINE IF!!!"

Never seen Doke cursing this much lmao HILARIOUS the whole adventure 😂😂😂😂
Hay DokeTV In you’re next project can you try some good old school Mural with black gray and white and some bright colors ?
DOKE's energy, personality, and humor is the stuff of legends. Oh...and then there's the raw talent... 😆 Don't ever change brother! Thanks for the continued ruler content.
Hahaha The struggles were real :D I'm not even halfway through the episode and I just had to say it's absolutely hilarious :D /Midas xD
“According to tutorials… this should be hard” 🤣 at least you went at it knowing your odds 💀😂
So much money and time respect bro this is why i watched you since 2015

Glorious Tuesday to wake up to see a new video from you and merch to buy off your store!! :) keep up the great work Doke!!
This is gonna be lit
I see wat u did there 😂

Netflix : are you still watching?...
Somebody's daughter: 8:56
Somebody's son: 14:26
The guy in the bathroom after: 10:33
Doke is a chill guy until he has to open the fire extinguisher 😂
Remove the pressure gauge and replace with a standard tire valve. Modern rogue did it to spray mustard. The gauge on the compressor is enough to tell you start pressure.
the title is "try to open fire extinguisher"
Roller on a big pole is a good laugh for high up tags, even block pieces. Outside of that building opposite the tracks looks ideal.
YOU have To use a one way valve and a conection to a co2 can (this smal one)Than YOU just change the co2 an and have much more preasure 👍🏼
I feel like you gotta do a part 2 for this!!!
Never thought of using a fire extinguisher for spray painting. I wonder what other wacky painting medians there are?
Weed killer sprayers
Coke bottles with holes in lid
Deodorant cans
Try to fill it to the green, use a longer hose with a smaller diameter nozzle so you can aim a little easier, maybe put a strap on it so its not as heavy(heard you struggling with the wide hose) absolutely loved the video Doke! Hope to see a part 2
Might as well make it a purse if your going to go to that level. Man up!
You know the man is in it with his heart when paint gets in his eye and still contiues
This is my most favorite way to paint. Literally almost get off on it
Please do more this stuff it was so dope
you could make a fitting hole inside of the fire extinguisher and put a tirevalve inside of it. Mostly at every Gasstation you can put maybe 5bar of pressure inside of it. i think with more pressure you could paint with more details.
Actually crazy, have been searing around about this for a few days, for a friend ;) And now you just happend to upload!
Do half of watered down paint, 100+ psi(no more than 300) and flip it upside down before painting, makes it work like a charm
You could have tried if a muzzle or what is called, a restriction on the end of the pipe, could make it more similar to a huuuge fat cap, like 50 cm diameter... I was expecting just that in the end, but it didn't came.
The old school chrome refillable fire extinguishers are the best
I got one from 1995
This work better with a bigger extinguisher. You can have more air in it with the same volume of paint. Also a skinny nozzle at the end of the hose make for a longer throw. And finally I found that 140-150 psi bring the gauge right in the green and it makes for an amazing result lol

Doke on fire 🔥🔥🔥
Get Extinguishers !! Quick!!
Comic relief - meets - never give up = another great video!!
Probably late to comment this but drill and tap a vale on the actual tank and you can just hook up to that and get better pressure and it will make it super easy. (I built a flamethrower this way). I really hope you get around to reading this I absolutely have always loved this channel keep up the absolutely beautiful art man!!
Maybe try a power washer that has paint? A power washer comes with multiple spray tips as well.
In the states we use chrome one's and they have like a tire valve to fill them with air.. They have a pressure gauge so you know how much air to put in it..
This needs a part 2
To fill the extinguisher you need like a bicycle type fill valve you may need some reducing fitting to adapt the extinguisher hole down to the fill valve. Then you just hook your air hose to it, fire up your compressor press the handle and fill to greenzone release handle remove air hose and fill valve attach hose and spary babay
I burst out laughing so many times in this video
One of your best videos ever mate... i had a good laugh, simply magnificent
Try getting a screw on compressor attachment to fill it with how the hose attaches. May be easier to get a high pressure in the can
What was in the fire extinguisher before trying this, the valves are different a water extinguisher uses a spray nozel, powder ones will have a jet nozel
Rent an airless sprayer. They have lots of different tips and nozzles to paint with
Your new hoodies look sick bro!👍
Cool Projekt! I Hope in Retroperspektive you had fun with this project😊
Wow. I spent the first half of the video wanting to jump on a plane to visit so I can show you how to do it without destroying the fire extinguisher. You also have to drill a hole and instal a bike pump valve (1 usd) on the side to fill it up with air to pressurize.
They make a little schrader valve adapter that screws into where the hose connects. Makes it easier to pressurize. It’s 6$ usd on eBay.
just made my life easier thankyou!
OGER
Tip: vide grips would perfect to take off the nozzle of extinguisher. That’s my go to tool.
If there was some way to attach a fat cap to the extinguisher it would be monstrous! Love the videos btw :)
If you get a tyre valve and glue it to the threaded opening of the extinguisher you can put much more pressure in it
The excitement you had was awesome
Oh my god this literally made my day 😂 love your patience bro
I have been waiting so long for this🤘🤘🤘
I’m curious the difference in pressure between a regular can and a can of silly string
getting a smile in my face, when i see your videos
7:11 - That's the best Dr Evil 'Bratislavian'/Slovak evil laugh I have ever heard.
imagine he was just tighting it instead of unscrewing it
ah you gotta do more videos with this it has huge potential!
This crazy guy. I love it. So much effort good work
6:07 is the only time i think I’ve ever heard doke curse 😭😭
I can't stop laughing watching this. Love it
you didn't need a generator/compressor at all. you could just take it to a gas station where they have the section where you put air in your car's tires. in the US it's like $1 for the service
That seemed like a colossal waste of time… but so much fun!! 🤣. Great video!
You should try again but with a custom nozzle so you can get more accurate with it ;)
There is actually a easier method to achieve this kind of tag, there is a thing called the "Krink Sprayer" Which is 35$.
i love that you left in all the hassle to open it. i did laugh when i saw that teeny tiny vice of yours though
Thanks for the tuto!
HASTA LA VISTA AMIGO
SALUDOS DESDE ESPAÑA !!
you should pressurise the tanks till there int he green area and you also don't always have to hold down the handle and you can get a fitting for converting the thread on the air compressor tot he same size thread as the hose and pressurise till you just about to get on the high pressure side of green on that gauge 100-110psi is what id fill and 8 litre extinguisher to and i normally only half fill with 4-5L of paint in an 8L extinguisher
Bro..I recommend you get the silver or chrome looking fire extinguisher, they are the best for what you need..I'd like to thank GUFE & BUKET for providing me with my first back in 06..
Damn you from California or Vegas? Gufe is up on the way to Nevada from LA.. and buket killed it here before he got locked up. Dude was a killer.
also you should make the nozzle as skinny as possible so it puts out paint at higher pressure
The dedication
There needs to be something like this with straps, that way you can wear it like a backpack. Then have a longer hose and some way to hit the trigger.
Easily the coolest video that you've made. It doesn't have much purpose for the usual muralist and for that reason it seems the most true to graffiti.
The whole meltdown is my favorite part 😭😭
when trying to open it I would use the cold from it decompressing and then heat the top of the can... but that is not something most will think of in the moment.
I’ve been waiting for this for so long
@DokeTV I have a challenge for you, try to paint blindfolded, you can only look at the wall from the distance!
Love your channel
Bring it back but drill and tap a valve stem so you can pump it up with the bike pump into the green area and like other are saying reduce the nozzle to get a smaller spray
Pro tip get the silver fire extinguishers. They have a valve to pressurize them already on them and they are filled with water. Easy pick up from a car wash...
You can acctually make dry ice with that if u spray it in like a potatoe or like fabric bag
I really wanted to buy your merch, but sadly i live in Brazil and it doesn't ship to here :c
There's gotta be a way to pressurize that differently....so that you aren't putting air in the same place the water is coming out...kinda hard to get a decent pressure like that
Can you set up a jet wash with a barrel of paint?
I love your patience 😆
