Rhanks for this review. I prefer the RPHA90 because you get a great helmet for a good price!

I saw this review, compared against all helmets on the market for this category and finally bought it.
It was £190 on ebay new so it was the best deal and overall it is the best value helmet I have ever owned (daily driver for 8 months now).
I have had many and only the shoei gt air II or the neotec II beats it on noise isolation and a snugger fit due to more shell sizes. What those 2 don't beat it at is on: weight, price and sharp rating as those are still arround £300 and the is max 2 (rpha 90 predecessor/sibling) ranked sharp 4 never opening the flip up mechanism throughout all tests: 100% - better than neotec 2(70%) or even the older neotec (93%). It was well worth every penny and I will buy it again and again until something even better comes along. Ride safe.

Thanks for the comparison video, can't make a pick between these 2 helmets though.

Had opportunity to buy one of them for same price. Went with rpha because of two things: sportmodular have serious design flaw, chin open button will break and you cant open it anymore. No spares to get. So basically trash. Saw at least few reports of this.
Second reason - agv was black which is worst colour for helmet, while rpha one was white and other blsck-white with mostly white, looks lovely.
Rpha is far from perfect but i still think its best modular currently if weight is important to you. Otherwise id get neotec2

It's definitely a tough decision, especially considering both helmets' excellent results on the road.
      Thanks for the comment!
What are your thoughts on how the AGV and HJC performed?

@@Championhelmets It would be nice if I could try them both on and just choose the more comfortable on my melon but I’m buying the AGV because it looks more narrow and that third shell size is likely to help with that. Although I like the HJC for the latch the price and the recesses for communication products.

@@cleanmike7312 Compared to the HJC, the AGV head fit may feel more narrow since it is coming as a more sporty option. This is also reflected in the helmet's external styling and shell shape, which is also more streamlined. Though the HJC does offer an equally fantastic set of features considering its price.
      Thanks for the reply!

Thanks formaten review! And again, thanks for sticking with the world-wide used metric measurements.
“The helmet comes with three/two shell sizes”. How does this work please? The only size I’ve seen online is S, M, L, XL, etc. Can you actually order a shell size?
Would you be able to mount a Sena (or other brand) Bluetooth system on the AGV helmet (with speakers and microphone beam inside).

Our pleasure! The AGV Sportmodular comes in 3 outer shell sizes. This means that for any given size (M, L, XL, etc.) there may be a different size outer helmet shell. In the case of the Sportmodular, the helmet shells are distributed with the first covering XXS - S, then M - L, and XL - XXL. So, you don't order the shell size, but the standard size according to the AGV size chart.
Generally, more shell sizes is better since it means a more proportional head fit, which has the benefit of a lighter weight, improved safety, and a better look. For example, if you were a size M, but had to share a shell size with XXL, you would end up with a helmet that was unnecessarily large.
Regarding the comms. system, you should be able to fit a non Sena Ark system in the Sportmodular without too many problems.
      Thanks for the question!

Thank you for your feedback. Because we test all of our helmets on the highway under the same testing conditions, to make them well comparable.

How does the RPHA90 come up in regard to sizing as the medium and large sizes appear to overlap.
