Lovely. Thanks for sharing. We have a copy the statue of “the immigrant” in a park here in Saint Leonard (Montreal). My family is from Baranello, the town next to Vinchiaturo. Hope you go visit and film Baranello. ❤

Welcome! We love Molise area. I really like Bojano also. We go there almost everyday. Bojano has more stores and businesses. They have a great outdoor market on Saturdays. Also up the mountain in the old town if one of the best restaurants in the area.
@ I’m so glad to hear you like Bojano. It looks like you guys are between Bojano and Campobasso. We have lots of plans for spending time all over that area. I recently found out that my family from Bojano actually lived up in Civita Superiore. Then I discovered that a distant relative of mine is in the process of taking over the house. What timing!
Beautiful video! I just found your channel and watched everything. I love your place and all the work you’ve done is fabulous. I want a place very similar to yours as I’m a gardener , so I need a “small plot of land” not as large as yours as I now feel like I need to just concentrate on a smaller plot with some of my favorite flowers and just a small veggie garden. I’m so happy I found your channel! I have been dreaming about retiring in Italy in hope to get there in the next year or two. I got to get things done here in the states to get myself there. I’m not sure where I want to settle down yet and that is questionable. Especially in the last couple of days with all the floods. And last year’s flooding as well! How did you guys fare in your area with the recent flooding and do you have any advice to give on areas -regions that are not being affected by flooding. Thank you so much. Each area is so different in Italy. It really depends on what you are looking for. Close to the water, city life, country life, etc. Molise area is still untouched by tourism so you truly see the real Italian life here. The flooding was more in the North of Italy. But this is also earthquake area. My best advise is to visit different areas first and also to buy something that doesn't need a lot of work. Doors and Windows are expensive and can take up to a year to get. Also the further north you go the more English you will hear. Hope this helps.
You are correct about the immigrant statue. I know many Vinchiaturesi who were members of the st. BERNARDINO SOCIETY including my dad, mom, and myself. After my dads passing. My family started a scholarship fund in his name because of his love of education.
I recently found your channel and really enjoy it! This is such a cute town. My dream is to own a little home in Italy one day. Can you say how much they were asking for that lovely Stonehouse without the yard that you had looked at to buy? It is beautiful!
