- In this video, I'll share the 5 reasons I'm taking on my first marathon. From personal challenges to fitness goals, find out why I have decided to tackle the grueling 26.2 miles for the first time and come and see what I'm doing to prepare. My 5 reasons are highly individual to me so they will not be the typical things you see on UA-cam but rather my own motivations.
I will also walk you through the running I've been doing in the week as part of my marathon training and the gym workouts I've done. As always, the special little guests make an appearance.

You know I'm cheering you all the way. Proving to yourself that you can do it is definitely a solid reason why. Anyone saying otherwise is probably too busy playing Fortnight to do what you do. You're a legit runner.
A good friend of mine runs regularly, but 12k might be the farthest he's gone and he has zero interest in racing. Never even done a parkrun. Is he a runner? Hell yeah.

However you are fast! Nobody expects everyday runners to be 16min 5k 🤣 which is the exact reason your content is so relatable :)
I myself is turning 30 this month with a rather new pb for 5k which is 21:32 but you are truly my main inspiration mister!

Oh no I don’t, one of our offices is in Wimbledon so sometimes I run there and before work. Always happy to meet up with people and run together though

Enjoy the journey, have fun and don’t worry about anything (ok maybe on training) 😁. Pressure is something you don’t need for the 1st Marathon. The kids are definitely a great distraction, so that you can think on other things 🤷🏻♂️😆.
I’m planning on simply enjoying every second of this because it will never happen again. You just need to cherish the experience without needing the distractions. Bring the kids along too.
If you run, you’re a runner my friend! Don’t let anyone tell you anything else. And on top of that, you create, you inspire and you bring a positive message. You’re a treasure!

I would love to make a recommendation on the shoe of yr contender, one that has value technology and a space in its lineage finally... which came outta left field, and that is ADIDAS SL2. Just passed the big 4 0 last month myself.....I have a mental age of a 20yo, my knees and back of a 60 yo, so if you average it out, 40 makes sense.
