Lots and lots of neat features!! More coming from Richie that makes these radio’s awesome!! It’s like getting a new radio with every software update that allows you to customize it. Plus the ANF works along with the NR2 and NB2
Darren, as always good video. I will be tackling that same setup in a years time. Excited to jump in the full SDR. I love my Yaesu, but all good things must end, and try something better and new. Can’t wait for your next video. 😊
If not customizing how the display/panadapter looks, then yes set up the audio. I was gonna used the sE Dynacaster but decided to try the Rode Videomic first and had good results.
Would you be able to do a quick "How-To" video on how to set up a couple different mic setups for your ANAN-7000DLE MK II? I have the exact same radio but I have yet to figure out the microphone setup. Everyone I ask just says "go to the forum" so not very helpful. No one seems to have a How-to on mic setup. 73, Mark WU6R
I just got mine Good Friday, it's Easter Sunday now and it's still not hooked up... Thought I would have to load protocol 2 firmware to run Thetis? Looks like yours ran it on protocol 1? Was your bootloader switch on the bottom of the radio in the ON or OFF position?...maybe mine will see power up today? Thanks for making it look easy 73 de KA9UVY
@@DarrenN4VFR Thanks Darren, did you ever load protocol 2 firmware? I was under the impression that you had to use protocol 2 to take advantage of gigabit ethernet speed? I'm still sipping coffee here and making interface cables in my head, lol 73
@@televisiondxer8105 No, it's still Protocol 1. I'm not sure if my ethernet is running at 1 gb speed. I can't see my router behind the desk. But connections has been great so far.

Thanks DJ! There's a lot to learn to get the most out of the radio.
Thanks for the great start up video for the Anan transceiver Capt. Darren The sky is the limit with that radio
Thanks.Art!

What radios will this software work for
I'm not really sure, but it operates my Anan 7000dle Mk3. Maybe someone else can chime in. 73's
All ANAN Radios and also Hermes lite, Red Pitaya - TRX-DUO, Odyssey SDR from N7DDC and probably a few more that I forgot.
sound like great radio, but, unfortunately it is out of my price range. I was thinking more like $1200 to $1500 AG6JU
Excellent video Just what I needed. 73 de WA2RSL
