The lp guitar is Andys Redtail goldtop. 2002-2004 ?. cocobolo fret board jumbo frets vintage 1976 Gibson mini buckers. 300 k Pots and paper in oil tone caps. Hondo mahogany with a softmaple cap. Patterned from a 60s lp,but with a few design differences too.Its one of his favs.
Andy is awesome as usual, but yet another fuzz? Just what we need. Add this to the garbage bin of 5,000 fuzz pedals that all sound nearly indiscernible from one another.
You wanna go back to the time where you could only choose between a fuzz face, tone bender and big muff? Go ahead while I browse for some more fuzzy goodness. Complainers gonna complain I guess.
Jesse Maes But he has the point. Absolute majority of all those 'boutique' fuzz pedals are just designed in same way 'let's change one tiny component in one of the classic pedals and call it a day'. Very few companies actually make their designs stand out. Last one on my memory - velvet fuzz.
MrCorvusC I'm saving up for a Mad Professor Fire Red Fuzz. I'm a solid-state, 7-stringer who loves Jazz and Metal and Ambient, and never was a Fuzz-liker. I tried that little red box out , and it blew me away. The old version of the Black Arts Pharaoh Fuzz is killer, too. \m/
I was very aware of the long list of fuzz pedals out there, and tons being muff style, so with this I changed every stage and added a new dimension completely. I also didn't release it until it blew away Oklahoma's resident Muff Maestro. After he said it blew away his collection...I figured I could release it. I think it was worth the wait.
Its the standard pedal with the artwork. Originally there were two versions and this one was going to be limited, but people loved it so much they made it the standard.
Pardon me! I used to have a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top with the mini humbuckers. Looks just like it, couldn't see the head stock. So, I thought that's what it was. And I didn't read the comments. So, whatever! Who cares!
I love it when you break out the classics....Brian James was way better than the Capt. East Bay Ray is the perfect guy to cover for the delay demos too. You have good taste, Andy
Came for the pedal demo, stayed for the playing... Great Job!
That rad graphics on the box!!!
I guess I might have guessed that Andy would be the kind of guy whose dad builds kick-ass gee tars.
5:24 yeah baby!
The Damned!!! Nice playing as always, Andy!
Killer riffs, I am getting this baby. I compared it today with other monsters at the store. Kicked ass

Love the New Rose riff!!!
New Rose was awesome in the beginning!
NEW ROSE by THE DAMNED! NAILED the tone, too! capt. sensible used a Les Paul........
Great demo and an awesome rendition of New Rose. Godlike work Andy!
He need to make this again!
He went one louder with the Moon.
I like both :)
This is my kind of fuzz.
I always rag on keeley's pedal design but this one is gorgeous.
HouseofChains81 Isn't the important thing what it sounds like? It's an effect pedal...
Andy, you are a true hard rockman :)
I got a new rose, a new rose in town.
Playing a Damned song in a demo? That's subscribe material...
This might be the perfect Muff aside from the NYC Muff (which is so legitimately muffy)
Andy's smile at 5:24.
I think they try to stay kind of impartial when they're doing these--- but sometime you switch pickups and it's just tooooo good
sounds pretty awesome
The problem with the reviews on this channel is it makes every pedal sound bad ass with this dudes guitar playing. heh
Descendents "I'm the one" hell yeah!
That sounds awesome....
Great work guys, as always!
Dig
Playing The Damned for an intro??? Hell yeah.
Is she really going out with him? :D Awesome rendition of 'New Rose'!
I got it good. Yes, I knew that I always would.
Can't decide whether or not to get this or the fuzz head...
+ThatStupidPunk when in doubt, get both! thats always my policy with fuzz pedals!
Psi. Or Both, whatever. One is a Fuzzface-style, the other is a Big Muff derived circuit. Bases covered.
Balls to the wall sickness!
Andy you should be fronting a band man

Robert Keeley sounds killer!!!
What Year is that Les Paul Classic W/ mini Buckers?
It looks like PRS got there hands on the cutaway
It's a Redtail Goldtop, not a Gibson. Custom made, not a factory model.
Man that LP looks sexy with those minis in it, sounds sexy too.
sound good with pop punk riff.
"Pop punk"? That's The Damned, you philistine.
well I am right that it is punk. it just that in major scale so that said pop punk.
that was pretty darn cool. which one is better that one or the rotten Apple?
What's the song he played with tele? 4:06
What's the title of the opening song? It rocks.
The Damned - New Rose
Andyuf2 its The Damned - Neat Neat Neat
baldypel No, It's New Rose.
Forget this! Get an ARC Effects "Crimson King"!!!!!
New Rose!
I was hoping to hear some Gangnam Style.
sick version of new rose
Les Paul Deluxe, I used to have one.
Oh really? You used to have that Gibson guitar that's not even made by Gibson? Thanks, expert.
Whats the song he played on the Strat?
are you still using royer r121 mics for recording?
Is the hand-painted version the only one we're going to see, or can we expect a mass production model?
Its the standard pedal with the artwork. Originally there were two versions and this one was going to be limited, but people loved it so much they made it the standard.
@ProGuitarShopDemos What is Your favourite fuzz effect?
What is the 3rd song he plays?
Any good for bass guitar??
what was that song in the intro?

no note definition but nice growl
By Muff standards it has plenty of note definition. By non-fuzz standards, not so much.
I love it when you break out the classics....Brian James was way better than the Capt.

You have good taste, Andy
your playing sweet child of mine wrong!
