I'd rather have huge notch (iPhone) in return of great selfie camera and secure 3D Face unlock than no notch but abysmal quality selfie camera (Xperia 1 III) and no face unlock at all.

Does it heat when charging with a 20W charger? Mine seems to heat especially when charging up to 60%.
In my opinion Original iPhones dont heat since it has a great cooling technology as well as there chipset is intelligent enough to keep device cool ...

I already ordered my iPhone 13 Pro, but I'm debating on cancelling and spending the extra $100 after seeing that drastic battery life difference. I thought the margin was gonna be a lot smaller. With 1/4th more of the Pro Max's battery in mAh, I think I might order that one instead. The tests here even show an almost 1/3 difference in battery performance! But the smaller form factor is definitely the thing stopping me from doing so. Having a phone that's easy to carry is a big concern. Very on the fence about both.
Update: Went with the iPhone 13 Pro. Faster recharging with a worse battery is okay for me because it's easier to wield.
I have the same feelings. I just put in an order for the 512GB iPhone 13 Pro. I might go with a 256 Pro Max instead.... I don't want something unwieldy though...

@@interstellar0001 In my experience, after a while, you get used to the bigger size. The only tiem I 'noticed' a difference was when I had to used a 12 Mini for a few months then moved back ot the 12 Max...the form factor is really noticed then. But when I had gone from the 12pro to the 12max...it just took me 3 weeks and I've never looked back.
Buy the 256GB 13 Max :)

@Sarath S Nair My iPhone 13 Pro came in yesterday, and the battery life is good. Compared to my 6s, I’ve been using it for like an hour or so (maybe less) and it’s at 93%. I think you’re fine with all day photography on this phone. I was watching videos and going on Safari and it got to there.

Content creators usually have access to this units before the release with enough time window to test and make reviews and stuff...all they need to do is to wait for the official release and start laughing those videos.

How about the main issue of the camera ( LENS FLARE). It seemed no one of the Influencers, or UA-camrs wanted to mention that big issue. I regret buying it after shooting my first video at night. tooo much lens flare.
Seems okay but not worth upgrading from an iPhone 11 yet. Actually very disappointed with the 11 and it’s “computational photography” and annoying night mode gimmicks. Really missing the old iPhone 7/8 days where photos were lightning quick and almost zero shots were ruined. These new clever AI cameras tend to focus on faces over anything else and it’s ruined plenty of photos for me.. even manually tapping to focus on a pet, for example, is sometimes overridden and a stranger in the background is in full focus. Exposure, colour tint etc are often way off the mark even though Apple used to be king in getting those simple things done perfectly in older generations. I think I’m going to just get the SE 256GB and dump the huge multi camera nightmares.

Huh? 85 hour rating? What? What's all that talk about "INSANE" battery life - both screen on time and standby? The rating is oddly similar to oneplus 9 pro, a phone that has had the complete opposite kind of talk. Was all that talk about battery life just some kind of Apple talk? :D

The Pro Max was where the battery life claims were made. The Pro has a tiny battery compared to the OP9P but gets a similar score. DXOmark ranked the iPhone 13 Pro Max as miles ahead of the competition and in second place had the iPhone 12 Pro Max. For efficiency they claimed that Android phones are so poor that they are miles behind.
@@andyH_England makes sense. But I've seen countless posts about the regular pro, too. There must be some confusion about battery life among iphone users. Maybe they came from such old devices that their minds were simply blown by the fact that they don't need the green fire exit- type signs to point towards chargers
@@samulai In the DXO rankings, the iPhone 13 has a 74/100 performance compared to 60/1100 for the S21U (Exynos)! The S21U has a near 2000 mAh bigger battery! The real factor is why with such big batteries do flagship Android devices perform so badly?
Unless you really need to save 100 dollars, I’d recommend just going for the pro max

That's Apple's plan. If you want to buy the 13 mini, you'll probably be like: oh, but since I'm spending so much, why not pay $100 more and get the regular IPhone 13 with increased battery and bigger screen. But when you think about buying the regular 13, you're like oh, but there's the 13 Pro which only costs a bit more and has a higher refresh rate, better cameras, more ram, etc, etc, it continues. If you want to buy the 13 Pro, just buy it and quit worrying about the fact that there's a higher tier that costs $100 more.
@@sabr3T I honestly thought the same. This whole Pro vs. Pro Max has made me cancel my order twice. I think I’m just going to go with the Pro and send it in for battery replacement when the battery gives out.

Only the pro max has decent battery the others have terrible batteries, 121h vs 85h rating in gsmarena's testing.

@@techtribe8839 I don't make reviews but me and my brother have a smartphone store and we unbox phones daily 85h vs 121h is almost 50% better battery dude. I'm not saying 85 is bad If you just scrolling it's ok but if you play games or shoot videos you won't make it through the day, also it's just 99$ extra.
