In this video we show how to install spark plugs in my brother's 2016 Subaru WRX. This video will apply to most vehicles equipped with the FA20 Motor. It is specially for the 2015 through 2021 Subaru WRX models.

Just a pro tip for that drivers side. you can un bolt the lowor motor mount and jack the engine up a bit on the one side, it helps out a lot!

how many miles on the odo at time of change? iridium tipped plugs can go 100k miles or so before needing changed, yes? did you go w/copper core plugs (60k mile life).

it all depends on how you drive the car, the environment its driven in, and what mods you have done. i have 34k miles and i had a couple of symptoms of fouled spark plugs come up recently. my car had 4 dyno runs by 8k miles. intake, intercooler, oil cooler, downpipe, catback, tgv deletes, egr deletes, aos. 330 whp 300 wtq. it's driven hard regularly, so it's no surprise.
