Thanks good video a lot of times I use about 1 ft rubber hose that fits snug on spark plug to help take out and put back in it's super flexible work really good do me have good day
Is the coil pack stuck to the spark plugs ? Or you don’t have room to pull it out ? If it stuck , the only thing I can think of is spray WD40 lubricant and use a good grib glove . But if the coil pack has no room to wiggle out of the plug tube. There’s 2 ways to do it , make sure the coil pack is unplug , try Turning it 180 degrees and try to remove it that way ,Or you can jack up the motor slightly. But I would try the 180 degree 1st . Always Works on mine .
Actually looks like a easy process! I definitely need mine replaced I currently been fighting misfire issues also when I go into boost it like cuts out hopefully new spark plugs will fix my issue 🙏🏻 if not I mean changing spark plugs doesn’t hurt
question, my 2005 wrx 2.0 had ngk platinum laser plugs, however I purchased and installed new ngk Iridium XI, car runs great and everything but, is it bad to not put the same plugs in, in my case? Thank you
the NGK Platinum Laser Plugs are OEM application. and they'll last longer than the Iridium XL. The Iridium XL are more aftermarket modification and has less life than the Laser Plugs. The one I put in mine are one step colder iridium XL which is recommended for 100hp+ over stock. hopes that helps. =)
but the Iridium XL is fine on your wrx. just will have a shorter life than Platinum Laser. I will say Iridium XL last around 50K miles and Laser Platinum laser will last around 80k to 100K miles. depends if you have modifications.

What year and model is your subaru? Does the coil pack tip still stuck on to the spark plug ? If it’s stuck, the plug might be rusted in with the coil pack , you just gonna have to keep wiggle it back and forth till it comes loose , (leave the W-d 40 soak into the boot where the plug meets for a bit) , you might need a new coil pack. But if its loosen from the spark plug and you just can’t get it out , try Turning the pack 180 degree.

Hey man hope you can help me, I did the spark plug change just exactly how you did on the video and after finishing everything the car crank but it wouldn't start. There is anything else I can do about that. If it is anyone else knows about this situation please let me Thanks
🤔 maybe double check and Make sure you plug everything back in the right place , and make sure the coil pack and the spark plug are connected and see if that will work .
The one I have on my 04 STi 2.5 turbo ej is the NGK LFR7AIX one step colder. Recommend if the car is mod or tune close to 100hp+ . If stock , I would recommend the 6619 LFR6AIX-11 (oem specification)

How do you get a stuck coil pack out? I can’t get it out for the life of me. And yes, I got the bolt out.

Yeah change the spark plug and see if that helps. If not it might Be Fuel pressure or fuel pump or boost leak . Let me know if you have more issues.
Yes mine has the same boost cut at 5k rpm n pops

Really well done. Great music.
Thanks really appreciated 🙏🏼!
Great video, don't forget to mention NGK spark plugs do not need anti seize as it acts as a lubricant and you may overtorque by as much as 20%.
sae jun thanks for the feedback !
You should always use the sparkplug anti seize

3:30 Tried to replace spark plugs today..the coil packs aren't coming out. They wiggle but are stuck >_
you can try spraying WD-40 into the hole and try to wiggle it out . Let me know if that works
@@KLIMPORTS No, its still stuck. Each coil just wiggles left and right. When i go to pull nothing its not coming out. Car is such a pain lol
