The old saying comes to mind……you can’t train an old dog ( or person ) with new tricks! Well that’s just blown away….I’ve been sewing since I was 9 years old and almost reaching my 75 th year and you’ve just done that….love your tutorials and can’t wait to make the scissor keeper for myself. Thank you
Lovely little demo. Just long enough to show you how to create the cutest scissor keeper. Your voice has a soothing tone. I'm going to enjoy making this. Thanks Em x
Beautiful Flower Scissors case. I love the flower with the Daisy in the middle and the colours. Great gift idea. Many thanks for the free pattern and instructions. Take care. x Blessings x Mariana UK xx
Hi Emma! Thank you so much for your lovely tutorials. Everything that you make is just beautiful! I can’t wait to try these! The “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” quilt is my favorite and these are precious little tiny ones! You are so sweet and enjoyable to listen to. You are so talented! Thank you! 💕
Beautiful scissors case. I will be sewing this one up.. thank you so much for the pattern and video. I’m addicted to epp, crocheting, and sewing all kinds of projects. And have been creating for many years and never have I stopped even when my girls went small. So happy to hear your voice and watch the sewing process. Until next time.
Oh my that was great to watch, now I have something else to add to my list.....my lists already huge, lol!!! That was wonderful to watch, what a lovely project to use scraps up for!!!xx
It's lovely that you're showing beginners how to do this project with minimal supplies like hexagon shapes made from printer paper instead of shop bought shapes... but I wanted to contribute a suggestion... Print the hexis out as instructed, then glue several layers of printer paper to the back of the printed page (making it thicker and sturdier). Then cut them out with scissors. 💖🌞🌵😷
Your work is so beautiful Emma, and your gentle way of teaching is lovely. A pleasure to watch you create these whimsical treasures...thank-you . Hoping Spring is restorative and comforting as you all come out of such a long and difficult Winter lock down. Love from across the seas...Maria xxx
Thanks Emma, this is such a stunning project. My tiny hexagons should arrive tomorrow, can't wait to have a go at one of your tutorials. Thankyou for sharing your pattern for free xx
Instead of folding the bias binding like you did 9:51, I fold it in half (wrong sides together) and press. Sew both raw edges of the binding to the raw edges of the base. Fold over and sew down the back. This creates a double thickness binding which lasts bit longer. 💖🌞🌵😷
Thank you Emma for another lovely tutorial. You always explain everything brilliantly and make it look so easy. I think I will try and make this along with the needle case and pin cushion. I'm very new to EPP but find it very relaxing. Thank you for providing yet another free pattern x
What a beautiful little project 😊. I’ve never done epp and I think this will be a great little project for me to begin with. They would make a lovely gift to 😊
Another lovely video Emma. Your creativity, generosity & calmness is such a balm in this hectic world. Still thinking of doing a templates video ? Bisous, Michele
