Instagram- AdamTheWooATW A fun day hanging out with Kurt from 80s life and hunting down some tough to find Fletch spots . Check out his channel, his stuff is great
Adam, did you notice the Laurie Strode hour is for sale? I went in to the open house this week and toured it, got some great photos and videos too. It's comprised of 3 units!
Excellent detective work buddy! The Mattress Inspector house find with the screen used mailbox is amazing! Love those movie magic location finds. Great movie, great video dude.
Man I am so pumped that you covered these locations .. Fletch is one of the most underrated films of the 80s.. & what a soundtrack by the way.. great job Adam Rosenrosen
Love fletch and fletch lives!! Love Chevy chase!! He’s a great funny actor. His vacation movies are the best!! Thanks for your great videos!! Much love!! 💙💙💖💖❤️❤️🙏🙏🥰🥰
I will have to say this happens to be one of the funniest filming location videos you’ve done in a long time and it was amazing the you and your friend discovered something about that movie that was not what it appeared was the house being in SoCal instead of Utah and I’m thinking that it must have been a great feeling for both of you to reveal that also you did a great job show screen shots from your phone to get a sense of what the scene you were showing really looked like now I also liked Fletch Lives but then again I like so many Chevy Chase movies mostly the early years movies anyway thanks so much Adam for this filming location video and now I’m going to watch both Fletch movies and possibly some of his older ones now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
HEY ATW..."CADDYSHACK" AND JOHN CARPENTER'S "MEMOIRS of an Invisible Man" were my favorite Chevy Chase movies. "Fletch Lives " is also a great film. A location vlog is a welcome change up, but California parks have definitely offered funny content. Great work ATW!
This is great. I love the Chevy Chase movies. Randy Quaid is back, It would be a awesome to meet him. Great comedic actor. Did you see the recent Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid clip? Saw it on UA-cam.
Wicked job dudes, loved this one!!! Made me chuckle when u guys said about all the research gone into the moment looking over the fence into that private club hahaha.. worth it tho. I concur, fletch is absolutely way more like Chevy than his character in vacation..
You should check out the museum Discovery Park of America in Tennessee. I went there a few years ago, it was fun. It’s got cars (including the one from the Dukes of Hazzard), airplanes, military vehicles, prehistoric animal skeletons, a Lego area, a tower you can go up in and look out, space stuff, medieval torture stuff, and more.
Love your filming location videos. I asked for Fletch years and years ago, along with Funny Farm, The Three Amigos, Stripes, Spies Like Us among others... So thank you! But I must point out, the mailbox is clearly different, different shaped paper holder, the one in the movie has bolts or fasteners on the front and top, and the emblem on the front is different and the one on the house now is a few inches longer. Hate to be that guy, but I'm very detail oriented. Thanks again Adam!
You are correct, I was just naming movies I grew up loving, not necessarily Chevy Chase movies, although he is in most of my childhood favorites.@@lilorbielilorbie2496
I haven’t read all of the other comments to see if it’s already been pointed out, but the mailbox at the end is not the same one. The old one has 4 rivets or screw heads and the hooks underneath are rounded instead of squared corners on the current one. No less of an awesome find though. I love your videos! Thanks for what you do!
Hey Adam, great vid, as always. My curiosity enticed me to see what other famous movies or tv shows were recorded there, at the Santa Monica Pier; * Forrest Gump * Star Trek Voyager * 90210 * Iron Man * Hannah Montana * Alias * Columbo And many others. Pretty cool.
Great work as always! I'm going to L.A. in November to find the classic 60's Dragnet and Adam 12 and maybe Emergency! filming locations. I may even try to find locales for T.J. Hooker as well. I'm just hoping the weather is going to be agreeable.
As good, and interesting ,as your research and commentary are on all of your location videos, I can’t understand why the travel channel isn’t beating on your door to do a show. People are interested in the things and places you present. I have watched your content for years now, and it never gets old.
I bet he makes as good money here as he would with Travel Channel and has total control over where he goes and what he does. Adam does not strike me as the kind of guy who wants some executive or producer giving him orders!
I liked Memoirs of an Invisible man. He was starting to get more acting chops and turning more serious like Bill Murray did later too. LOL to this day any big boxy car I get into is called an Oldsmobuick! lol
--also what the heck, random Woo on Avenue 51 and York? omg I have fam 2 minutes from a Fletch filming location? nice. Great little area, yall should have checked out Donut Friend, next to that pizza place on the corner, they have the cutest donuts and ice creams named after music bands like Jimmy Eat Swirl, Taking Back Sundae and Coconut of Conformity 🤣
A very interesting vlog about a classic movie. And so fun to see you collaborate with 80sLife again. Another one of my favourite channels! Thanks for another excellent vlog, Adam 🙏👍
7:14 back in 1990 our local cinema showed a Back to the Future 1, 2 & 3 finishing at 5am. I was 16 and my friends and I decided to walk home via the beach by our pier. It was the first time that I realised that homeless people slept under the pier.
I actually have a page from Chevy Chase's personal script which is signed by him as well. Coincidentally it's the scene where he's talking with Greasey.
Santa Monica Pier was used for intro scenes for Three's Company. You might also want to check out the marine aquarium at the Santa Monica pier.. there is an octopus that escaped it tank and created a flood.
Willy: What the hell you need ball bearings for? Fletch: Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. [leans arm on hot engine part] Fletch: Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.

Always enjoy a Chevy chase movie but foul play will always be my favorite
Do you own gloves Mr. Nugent? "Noo, I lease with an option to buy."

Five-O_Reviews. If my memory serves me correct Chevy Chase was not in the movie Stripes.
You are correct, I was just naming movies I grew up loving, not necessarily Chevy Chase movies, although he is in most of my childhood favorites.@@lilorbielilorbie2496
I always like watching Fletch and Fletch Lives, still havent watched the Jon Hamm Fletch movie yet.
I haven’t read all of the other comments to see if it’s already been pointed out, but the mailbox at the end is not the same one. The old one has 4 rivets or screw heads and the hooks underneath are rounded instead of squared corners on the current one. No less of an awesome find though. I love your videos! Morning Bro 😎✌️
I love your video,& tons of your videos of course,I have to differ with u,Vacation was my favorite Chevy Chase movie.
Fletch comes in 2nd
At the LAPD museum, the Police rescue vehicle ( cadillac Gage V100) was used in the Dragnet movie, with Dan Ackroid
Man, i was right there at the bottom of those steps smoking a cigarette, and never realized fletch was filmed there.
As good, and interesting ,as your research and commentary are on all of your location videos, I can’t understand why the travel channel isn’t beating on your door to do a show. People are interested in the things and places you present. I have watched your content for years now, and it never gets old.
Do they even produce travel shows anymore? Last I saw, it was all over-dramatized reality TV.
I bet he makes as good money here as he would with Travel Channel and has total control over where he goes and what he does. Adam does not strike me as the kind of guy who wants some executive or producer giving him orders!
I love the fletch movies
I go under Santa Monica pier on an almost weekly basis! Nearly every time reminiscing about Fletch and Fat Sam’s encounters there.
I love Fletch them music
Yes! Filming locations! Always extra fun when you colab with someone who enjoys locations as much as you do. :)

Love Fletch. It gets even more appealing with time because of the 80s.
I liked Memoirs of an Invisible man. He was starting to get more acting chops and turning more serious like Bill Murray did later too. LOL to this day any big boxy car I get into is called an Oldsmobuick! lol

Good morning from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park Mr Woo...It's FINALLY getting cooler here in town🏞️🐻🌄
Inspired to put this movie on as I type.
Santa Monica Pier was used for intro scenes for Three's Company. You might also want to check out the marine aquarium at the Santa Monica pier.. there is an octopus that escaped it tank and created a flood.
