Back to the Future is a 1985 American science fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Zemeckis, and Bob Gale. It stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Thomas F. Wilson. Set in 1985, it follows Marty McFly (Fox), a teenager accidentally sent back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean automobile built by his eccentric scientist friend Emmett "Doc" Brown (Lloyd), where he inadvertently prevents his future parents from falling in love - threatening his own existence - and is forced to reconcile them and somehow get back to the future
Great job . Awesome matching the shots as usual. Thanks for having me in the video, was a lot of fun
Great comedic performance Adam!
Your performance was magic. Thank you for being in my video!! Till next time
You did it very well
Adam, I look forward to meet you in the future and record the final episode of "The Fugitive" the serial from 1960's. Have a safe trip back to Florida!!
@80s Life if you ever decide to dip into the 90s, and do That Thing You Do, I can give you a lead on one of the toughest locations from that movie, one that's never been identified (as far as I know) 🤔😆
That reenactment was an absolute masterpiece! This is why UA-cam exists.
Even the video camera is awesome
Twin Pines fall is actually the Twin Towers going down.
It's upside down.
Predictive programming
Herve attia did a great job too.
True Sir!
Thank god for people like you, it's sad that all these places are changing.
Nothing stays the same.
Change is inevitable in life 😢😢🙏❤️🇬🇧❤️🙏 🔥 jun twenty three 🔥
Almost 40 years have passed.
So the mall is supposed to never evolve, update, adjust, just to stay in the 1980's?
Malls are becoming less of a destination the last several years. So they are trying to change with the times.
I don't like how a lot of people think that change is a good thing....
Cool video
Even got the JVC video camera
Like Marty
Dude the re-enactment seen was awesome. Dam I miss the 80,s!!!
I laughed, I cried... It was wonderful.
"it's the Floridians!" Haha that got me!😅 Great stuff again, Kurt! 😎👌🏾
2 of the best collide!
I think that video camera might be my favorite prop in your whole collection.
Heck yeah bro, I'm actually going to this mall Thursday to make this video. I've been a few times already but I've also been hearing the closure rumors.
As always great video and love the cameo. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
DUDE you are with the Woo. Congrats !
Awesome once again, and I, too, hope they don't touch the architecture of "JC Penny". Such an Iconic location.
Great video. I watched all three movies today.
This vid 😂 really great job !
Another great video! For those of us who had the great fortune to grow up in the 1980's, we can relax knowing that we were there.
This was a great video. I’m glad Adam the Woo was a part of it. Kurt , you got to get him in more of your videos
Great vid! Awesome Adam the Woo cameo!
I will never be able to watch BTTF again without hearing “The Floridians!” in my head 😂
BTTF Tribute with 80s Life and Adam the Woo-it’s gonna be epic! 💫
I thought that guy Adam move to Florida?
Such an amazing documentation video...thx so much! I need to drive out there asap from AZ to witness this place before it's gone
This was awesome. Give Adam an oscar! 😂
Great video! Can’t believe they would change all this!!!!
Awesome, Kurt!! Can't wait to put mine up. It's surreal being there, isn't it?
Great editing work once again
I love that you even got the right camcorder. Noticed it immediately!
Loved it bro! One of my favorite locations on earth!
Awesome!!!
Love it.
"It's the Floridians !" ... ha ha, that was *GOLD* !
I can hear Huey Lewis singing "bank in time" in my head over and over.
Great video, keep up the great work 🙏😎✌️
sad that there's going to be changes.
This was HILARIOUS! The svelte Adam the Woo fleet of foot now! Can't wait to see the full BTTF video!
Back to the Future Love movie DVD 📀 my favorite one fan Big 💖💖💖💖💖🎶⭐️
We love the Woo!!! Awesome video!!!
Just found your channel through Adam the Woo! Loved this video!
It’s Adam the Woo! Nice colab.
After 38 years watching this movie, I was today years old when I discovered that the mall changed names from Twin Pine to Lone Pine after Marty came back.
Awesome video!! ATW great performance! As a teen in the 80s I just love your channel!
Awesome video love this!!
Love this video & mashup. I watched Adam’s video the other day and when he panned over and said oh, there’s someone over there taking a photo I was like oh I know who that is that’s Kurt. Nice work as always brotha.
Oh and my buddy had a brand called Floridiots no joke. ✌🏽
Every single angle in excruciating detail.
Excellent documenting. Well done.
Lots of places from my childhood are gone, including my elementary school. Kind of a bummer. The movie, however, will put you right back in that same place every time you watch it.
More and more, our childhoods are disappearing. Thank you for watching!
What an amazing performance by Adam the Woo as the Floridian. I was drawn away from reality and was nervous for your safety. Thanks for the great video.
.
Great video-as always! Thanks for bringing us along one more time before it is going to be changed / renovated
So cool that the tree is still there and has grown nicely over the last 40 years
Great editing brother ❤
Full on AWESOME! I never tire of seeing the locations of BTTF. And Adam The Woo helping out! After the day I've had, I needed this. Looking forward to your other BTTF Location vids. See you in the future!
Lmao the ending was great! That’s awesome. It was really cool to see this location as it is. Sad it’s changing. Great video 😎✌️
You should do filming locations for the movie superbad. My favorite teen movie from the 2000's
This is awesome Kurt!!! Love the ATW cameo. I came to this mall once in 2006.
Great video. Creative and really well done.
The re-enactment scene.....That was hilarious!!! 🤣😂🤣 Fun video!
I live 15 miles from that mall and recently found out about 2 years ago back to the future was filmed there and at that moment the nostalgia went thru the roof
That was awesome guys, thank you I really enjoyed seeing that. Keep up the good work
One of the best scenes in movie history! I still remember being 10 years old in the theater watching it!
As usual, you nailed it! Looking forward to the rest of your “Back To The Future” filming locations. Love Adam The Woo’s content, too.
I'm a sucker for time travel/loop movies. This is an all-timer for me. This movie, and the tv show Quantum Leap(the original). "Oh boy"
Awwwww, I grew up right near here and my Dad and I watched them filming some of this scene for about 2 hours. Good memories ❤
That's amazing!! What an experience. Thank you for watching!
I was wondering where Adam was. That was pretty hilarious 😂 good job guys. Never change
Man what a great video!! Adam, The Floridian, was awesome 😂. Very well put together video lol
Your videos are brilliant. They show so much love for the movies of this period. For a kid brought up in northwest England during the 80s & 90s, having such an influx of American culture during that time was incredibly formative.
I do laugh at your videos when you mention when something has been changed/pulled down/renovated. The disappointment and amazement in your voice really stands out 😂 ‘How dare they!’
Keep up the brilliant work.
Thank you so much for watching!
Great video, i was the one who broke the bad news about the malls future to you on one of your recent live chats. Grew up near the mall and spent much of my childhood there. Sad indeed.
Oscar winning performance. Adam 📽️🍿📼
Agreed
Coming from Adams Channel 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I KNEW you would do a great job on this one when sending you the news clipping! 🔥
Oscar for Adam!
Freaking awesome !!!
Your work is amazing man. My wife and I took a drive over there when we lived in LA around 2015. Found the McFly house and the shopping mall. Great stuff.
Adam The Woo you were GREAT😂😂😂. The entire Vlog was a masterpiece. I loved it.
This was the mall from my childhood. I even had my artwork exhibited here! Many happy memories as an 80s kid here. 🎉
I was living in Hacienda Heights and watched that scene filmed as a kid....little did I know how iconic that would become. Thanks to my Dad for stopping that night!!! Great job guys!!
Your killing it with content !!
Nice !
Adam the Woo seems to be friends with everyone. I see him cameo in so many of my favorite youtubers videos. Being universally liked is a handy skill to have. Great video 80's life.
He's a good dude and easy to get along with. Thank you so much for watching.
@@80sLife do you have a Twitter account? I looked but couldn't find it.
Oh man another famous location to go forever 😢
7:40 the tree is still there but has grown alot. Oh, man... 🥰
Im very pleased to find this before and after video this morning, brilliant Thank you !🤩
I saw this movie with my grandpa when it came out (sadly he died couple years later😂❤😂❤) so this will ALWAYS be one of my Top 3 movie favorites in my world because being with grandpa at the theater ❤❤
I just looked on google maps to see where this mall is, and I realized I used to live only 25 minutes from there. I lived in Fullerton for many years, and I can’t
believe how close I was to seeing where one of the most significant movies of my childhood was filmed.
Love BTTF and your channel!
Well done, man👊🏻 Thank you for taking me Back In Time! 🎶 🎵
LOL!!! Great performance from you both, Congrats Kurt you did it again.
Haha. Thank you so much!
those crazy Floridians LOL Adam should get a Oscar for that performance.
The funniest part of this is picturing people watching you two film the chase screen. I would love to see their faces, and hear what they were saying.
Yes, I hear Oscar talk about Adam’s performance. Well deserved!
Wild. I’m 44, grew up in the Midwest but have lived in central Florida for the past 25 years, and have a degree in film and television production. Also a huge BTTF and 80’s/90’s movie fan. So things like this I totally relate to. Been following Adam pretty much since he started too, and live not far from him. I’ve been out to Cali maybe 12-15 times in my life doing various stuff for work and in my personal life, but I’ve never quite had the time to drive around to some movie locations like this. But I know this mall so well. Everything about (at least that side) it is burned into my memories from having watched the BTTF trilogy who knows how many times. The L.A. metro area, for obvious reasons, just has endless amounts of filming locations. So iconic, and some super obscure. In so many ways it would suit me to live there because of that, and make it easier for myself with my career. But I just don’t think I could handle such a big, crowded, expensive place. Having grown up in a rural town of only 1,800, the Orlando metro has been big enough for me, and I even get frustrated with it at times. But I was actually born on the west coast, and sometimes I feel draw to it. At some point I would like to visit Puente Hills Mall. Even if it’s nothing like it was in 1985.
I can say I've lived here my entire life, and it's getting to the point that I can't handle it. So it would probably be too much for you coming from a small city. Thank you for watching
Such a RAD Channel...shout out to The Woo
Nothing scarier than a Floridian 😂 Run for it Marty!!!
Your entrance was The Coolest ever 👌
Great job you two. If it wasnt for creators like you and Woo, alot of these places would literally disappear into obscurity. This is showing just how much time changes. Thank you 80s and Woo.
Absolutely my pleasure. Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching
The wide shot of Adam chasing you at 5 mph is gold
Cant wait for the main event. Great work!!!
It's been longer between now and when the movie came out then when Marty went from the mall to the field.
1985 -> 1955 = 30 Years
2023 -> 1985 = 38 Years
I would go back to 1985 without hesitation. Still have my Sims Lester from 1984 and would take it with me.
A piece of movie history. A kid goes back through time to see his parents in high school.
Great video! Adam is the quintessential Floridian, Mickey Mouse tshirt and all!
I was there back in 2015, walked down the hill to where the sign was, parked where Doc's van was, and saw the Twin Pines sign in the mall. At the time I had a Subaru STI, and I don't think you could even get it up to 50 in that parking lot if it was empty, let alone 88 in a DeLorean.
This is one of the very best (if not the very best) coverage/shot matching videos I have seen of the Puente Hills Mall location for BTTF that I have ever seen (and I've see a lot). Very thorough in covering all of the major shots in the parking lot scene in chronological order with very precise frame to frame shot matching. Well done! Thanks for making it! 😉👍
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that!!
All 3 back to the future movies are awesome with Micheal j fox and Christopher loydd I loved the movies
This is just excellent. Thank you for making this video.
