the Chris Rock-hosted VMAs were the first one I watched. So many iconic moments, including the night ending with Marilyn Manson’s performance and many of the Black artists in the front rows reacting like, “Jesus, bring the flood”
Loved this VMAs recap. Quick note, “She went from Mickey Mouse Club to the strip club!” was said by Marlon Wayans not Chris Rock.

i agree with the take on chappell roan! i think the stans complaining about plain jane are doing a bit too much, i’m sure chappell can handle a bit of teasing/exaggeration that’s inherit in drag performance.
You ask why people see films unless they love them. I'm in LA and tickets cost about $20 a ticket. If you join the A List thing, it's $25 a month, and you see 3 free movie a week. I take advantage of that. I literally see 3 movies back to back to back on Friday or Saturday. So seeing 3 movies a week, I see at least 12 movies a month, which according to AMC is about $20 a movie, which is about $240 a month. But I'm spending $25. And I swear, I'm taking advantage of this, I'm watching 3 movies a week, weather the movie sucks or not, I love movies, so I watch everything. So I appreciate everything, I watch everything, I love everything (and believe me, I know when a movie sucks)..

I’m confused by this, VMA are fan voted and Taylor has the biggest fan base, wouldn’t it be weird if she wasn’t winning a lot. If she didn’t win that means she didn’t have that big fanbase.
Yes, I need new music from emerging artists. Best New Artist is just a label push. Where is the Best New Indie artist? Independent artists need some sort of support and exposure outside of SoundCloud.

I agree ! There is Tinashe and Tate and kid Laroi why they not perform im confuse? Also Tyla i’m upset she is not performing too… notes for vma there is bunch of kpop group you can pick the most talented group rather than bring the most hatred group from kpop fans Le sserafim, wth. They not even come from YG or SM labels that cast and trainee the members properly. Im sucked kpop downgrades because of them, that maybe they pay vma to perform, Le sserafim just sucks. And for Lisa she is good, but she is not the most talented person in Blackpink, she is overhyped for kpop idols, i think Rose or Jennie blackpink could perform better cause they really have technical vocals and strong voice. Also i don’t get it why she can win kpop categories since Seven by Jungkook ft Latto is a bop song in 2023, the music is everywhere, instead of rockstar win?! Insane.
