That’s not something you could do nearly as much during those times of conflict; your life was essentially set out for you during those times of strife and whatnot. It might have been a shitty path, but you didn’t have to CHOOSE to do something you didnt want to for the rest of your life. And as you can see, a lot of people are struggling with that. Admittedly, those choices have led to some pretty bullshit stuff, like misgendering someone being offensive, or some other stupid shit like that (that’s a more recent example). I made friends with people who needed protection and help, he certainly needed it but at the time I made friends with him because he was similar to me. We became good friends and eventually in 7th grade he said he needed to leave to Florida, forever. I had never had to say goodbye to a friend as good as him before and I had no clue what I would do. The day eventually came. We were all having fun with him. Everybody who was friends with me and by relation, him, was there. This song hit hard at that time.

This song started HUGE radio airplay during my 2017 vacation to Myrtle Beach so naturally, their rock station 96.1 WKZQ was playing it non stop, but you know what? I loved it so much that I didn't care. Saw thse guys open for 311 last year. I thought they were not bad. But then they blonde guy played the piano and sang this song and it was really good. I can see why the other guy is the front man, but I hope this guy gets to sing more. I think it was the only song he sang lead on at the show. Not sure how much he sings on the album. This song has really grown on me now. I love it. Also Kings & Queens is really great.
