And i dont think record lables do music videos, usally commisioned too a video production, the lable just produce them some of the time.

I saw this band open for Pheonix and Cut Copy at the greek theater in Berkeley and they literally stole the show. When they started, the crowd was mostly sitting and not paying too much attention, but by the end of their set, everyone was on their feet cheering and applauding. It was the first time I'd seen a crowd turn around like that and it set a very high bar for the next two acts.

I remember listening to this song during the first lockdown due to Covid here in Germany. My place of work was closed, university as well. I could do nothing pretty much, so I did nothing and started thinking about my life... Finally. I realized what made me depressed all these years. University pushing me to the limit mentally (not so much intelectually), a relationship that was over years ago, but I kept pushing myself to keep, so I wasn't alone and much more. I started changing things in my life and I felt just as high as described in the song (sans drugs), and felt at peace with myself for some time.

I discovered the song in the Summer of 2017 while driving my convertible Mustang on a beautiful Saturday afternoon listening to Sirus radio. The moment the song come on I cranked it up full blast. High stayed number one for three weeks and in heavy rotation on Sirius for close to 20 weeks from April to September of that year. I have been a fan of the band since then.

As a former addict, this song perfectly describes what it’s like to do a fat blast or shot or take some pills or drop some acid when you’ve been sober for a long time and you were hating every minute of it. This song played in my head many times during that aforementioned scenario, figuratively, before I ever heard it.

Was watching Marvels Inhumans and when this song came on I had to pause the show, open up the ole UA-cam and type in the first few lines to find this hidden gem of a song. To find out this has been here for at least 5 years has shaken my faith in all of humanity. I mean come on!!!
