What about the coils like the part that gets hot
so how do you clean around the element and fan on the top?
Nice babe 👍🏻👍🏻
Missed the elements where all the old grease and bacteria build up drips into the food
Does anyone else have issues with the sides of the fryer getting caked up residue?? Even dawn isn’t cutting it for me and it’s driving me nuts!! 😢
Have you tried Dawn Powerwash! It works sooooo much better than anything else!!
You can scrub it off with kitchen towels.
Use white vinegar, after every use 😂
@@xauv The non-stick coating doesn't like harsh chemicals.
@@andraskarsai exactly!! IE "White Vinagar", instead of bleach cloths, & Alcohol!!! Um your telling me alcohol, and Bleach wpies aren't HARSH CHEMICALS ¿🙃 🤔
Presumably you can just immerse the whole drawer in a sink of hot water?
If you have a big enough sink that is!
You can just fill the drawer itself in hot water, use said hot water to scrub off dirt with the soft side of a sponge (or with tough grime, with a kitchen towel), and then pour it down the sink - rinse & repeat until clean.
Wauu how to do Basic clean ( also wouldn’t use and never use brush for Teflon material ) , where is the inner part ?
That’s a valid concern! For me with all the grease and caked on food I have to use a brush. It’s a very soft bristle brush and luckily I’ve never noticed any scratches. I need to make one showing how to clean under inside. I’ll let you know when I update!
How do you clean the inside upper chamber?
I just spray Dawn Powerwash on a cloth and wipe it out until it’s clean! Depending on your air fryer you may be able to spray it directly on top and let it sit and then wipe clean.
That does not work. @@QualeHouse
@@FatGremlinI just tried by taking a toothbrush to it with baking soda and warm water to create a paste…wasn’t too successful because the fans get in the way 😩
That aint where most of the smells come from in air fryer , it's up inside, people are not stupid and know how to wash the drawers out 🙈
I love the air fryer!
Me toooooo! 👊🏼
Unfortunately, the non-stick parts of the airfryer use PTFE which is toxic when it burns up.
Where did you read that? I would love to see a source so I can be informed.
That's true for certain air fryer models, particularly older ones. Most, like this one, are now updated to be PTFE free and made with ceramic and stainless steel coating now.
@@joshbrennanyou are right I'm going to be getting the same type of air fryer from Amazon and it says that it's stainless steel.
@@QualeHouse i am going to be getting this same exact air fryer in a few weeks from Amazon. It says it's stainless steel and that the rubber bumpers on the bottom of the grill plates are plastic. But it says that the bumpers are safe to stay in the air fryer. So the materials of the air fryer are stainless steel and plastic. So you don't have to worry about any chemicals at all.
@@sierragoodenough0713they didn't mean the bumpers they meant the non stick coating of the metal draw and plates
Not got Dawn in UK
Oh man! Dawn is the best!
Does this mean you don't clean it every time you use it?
My kids sure don’t!! I wish they did! As a busy mom I remember as often as I can to go clean this thing! Kids are so messy especially when they all cook too!
love your sink :D so deep :O
Thank you! Me too!
How often do you wait to cool down before washing?
I’d wait until it’s completely cool
...the drawers are dishwashers safe
I am too afraid to do it haha! I feel like they’ll get worn or warped!! Have you been doing it often for a long time!
@@QualeHouse yes I have had the same one for about a year, wash them in top or bottom rack, no issues so far
Next time could you show us how to fill a glass of water?
I got you covered!!! 😜
