I work at a gas station that sells seafoam. Whenever a customer comes and buys seafoam to put in and has this type of gas lid i have to tell them i have no way of getting it in. You guys should just add a funnel attached to the can of seafoam it will make it alot simpler and practical.
Thanks, Ry. We appreciate but be willing to understand the are also reason to not include a funnel. A 'Capless" funnel costs less than a dollar. Have you ever thought of having a funnel on hand from a help/service standpoint?
@@SeaFoamOfficial Understood, but a lot of places don't sell the right size funnel like the one you show in your video, unfortunately. This is what brought me to this video. Lol. I do wish your product came with the funnel. But, I am going to continue searching for my own. Great, simple video.
Just found this out an hour ago after wasting an entire can trying to get it to work then seeing it spill all over the ground. I’m out $15.00 and now I’ll have to buy another can and a funnel.
I had a 2012 Ford Fusion and began adding SeaForm to the tank...before my fuel mileage was 25.6mpg after using (especially on long trips) I began averaging 30mpgCity and 38.2 mpg hw.... awesome additive!!
The new smaller size bottles have a thinner neck to work with capless tanks. Just save the bottle then cut the bottom off and now you have a funnel. If you plan to use the larger bottles in the future
The capless gas fill. They are absolutely terrible. After a recent rain I opened the fuel door and observed water pooled on top of the trap door. I had to blot it out with a dry paper towel trying not to push against the trap door. There is no telling how much water has penetrated the trap door.
I get the bottles into the capless fuel tank then it spills through on to the pavement under the car. What's with that? It seems as if the nozzle isn't long enough, but it doesn't spill from the top. It's coming from somewhere behind the metal door on the fuel tank. Nothing should escape after penitrating the metal door. Is there something wrong in there?
I see you are using it on a flex fuel vehicle. Can Seafoam be used with a tank full of e85 ethanol? I want to start doing treatments for my Grand Caravan, but run exclusively on e85. Thanks!
Yeah it wont hurt it. It's a petroleum based product I do it all the time on a half tank every so often. I do my intake system as well. This is great stuff. Helps keep all those vital engine parts clean and car will run fine off a full bottle. They had it on sale for 6.99 at my local advance so I stocked up it. Chevron techron is good stuff too. I like seafoam better though!
Can also add it to your engine oil filler cap. But need to drive it for alittle bit then do oil change right away because it cleans out all that old sludge and nasty deposits and crap. Do oil change after you get close to your mileage. Add this before oil change then change the oil. I drive about 500 miles then change the oil.
You can start using after three to five thousand miles to stay ahead of hydrocarbon residues. We see light deposits form on injector nozzles and intake valves within months of brand new. Can also look up the term GDI or Gasoline Direct Injection, then notice all the talk about intake valve issues while under warranty. Can also ask any dealership mechanic. Hope this helps!
Sea Foam is a blend of petroleum cleaning and lubricating oils. Can be used to clean your Fiesta's fuel and oil systems. A cleaner engine runs better and lasts longer. Hope this helps!

This short informational video just made my day. Thank you!
Can sea foam help loosen a stuck fuel pump indicator?
@@lisamyers700 Cannot, sorry.
It might be easier for the general public if the bottle is redesigned for this purpose.
Cheap shit company doesn't want to.

That’d been nice to know as I poured half the bottle down the side of my truck 😂 Guess I shoulda read the instructions oops

Are you using a capless funnel?
Wow thanks seafoam
do you add this before or after getting gas & about how much has should be in the car to add the full bottle?
If you add to a low tank of fuel you end up with a stronger cleaning concentration.
I see you are using it on a flex fuel vehicle. Can Seafoam be used with a tank full of e85 ethanol? I want to start doing treatments for my Grand Caravan, but run exclusively on e85. Thanks!
Yes, can add to any blend!
Should we pour the whole can into the gas tank or just some of it
The more the better.
I have a question. is it okay to add a whole can of sea foam to my gas tank?
Yes, can't add too much to fuel.

I also use this on my older Acura mdx.

why would you use seafood in a new truck?

On a 18.5 gallon gas tank that's half empty do I add half the 16oz can or do I add all of it ?
The more you add to less fuel the better and faster it works. How's that?
@@SeaFoamOfficialwill it smoke ??
@@sandyperez8020 Will not.
Essentially, what is sea foam, and why would I want to use it..on two year old fiesta?

Now when adding to gas does it clear and clean Fuel pump assembly, iinjectors and all the lines
It will work to dissolve petroleum residues and deposits wherever it flows with the fuel.
Add before or after you put gas in your car?
Great question! Adding to a low amount of fuel creates a greater cleaning concentration.
@@SeaFoamOfficial Thank you

Got em!!!!
We shouldn’t have buy a funnel to use this product!
I was just able to add it without a single problem, But you could have a different gas cap shape or something
Ya complain to the idiots engineering capless fuel doors.
Capless tanks suck
