      Thank you William, listening to this Video, when you hear what Teddy was saying after being caught by her mother.
      The mother showed her concerns for Teddy.
      As well as her love and support for her child.
      Thank you William.
      And God bless you William.

    A true inspiration for the trans community. So lucky she started so young. I’m 43 and have been on hormones 6 mos, making small progress. The younger you start transition the more “cis” you’ll look.

    My mom caught me dressed at fifteen in 1972. My experience was terrifying and caused me to live closeted until sixty. The scar of living behind a gender mask that did not fit is only just beginning to fade two yrs into transition.

      @Luc Houcke if you start taking estrogens when you're very young, before the male voice change, you develop a feminine voice. The reason why most transgender women don't have a feminine voice is that they start taking hormones too late, when their vocal chords are fully developed . Things are easier for transgender men, because testosterone makes your vocal chords thicker at any age.

    With a name like Teddy most ppl don't equate it with woman. Normally ppl would think of a man when they hear the name Teddy. I've personally never seen a woman answer the name Teddy ijs. I hate that term "privilege". "White privilege", "passing privilege" are stupid terms. Privilege is defined as "a right or immunity granted as a peculiar benefit, advantage, or favor". So what rights do white ppl have or passing trans ppl have that other races or non passing trans ppl don't?

    • @anaiahlittle-diop7424
      @anaiahlittle-diop7424 5 років тому +5

      the ability to pass as cis does give an advantage/ benefit. just look at the comments because she looks so much like a "girl" people accept and embrace her more but for a lot of non passing trans there's more rejection and honestly danger. as teddy said she can go outside and feel safe but a lot of other trans women don't and face a lot of discrimination and violence. Its not Teddys fault but she says she acknowledges this "privilege"

    • @AkonFenty1992
      @AkonFenty1992 5 років тому +2

      How do you know for a fact that she is only embraced and accepted, cuz she looks like an actual woman? I know this is going to sound messed up, but the non passing trans ppl put themselves in a messed up situation. Prostitution comes to mind and other sorts of thing like that. What about the other non passing trans ppl who are not in danger? I used to live in Atlanta, Ga and I used to see trans ppl especially trans women who still look manly like they're just men who dress as women instead of looking like women dressing like women, but they were never in danger, cuz in Atlanta if you keep to your lane then nobody is going to do anything to you. Sure there are trans ppl especially the trans women who have been murdered that didn't look like actual women, but that's not in call cases of non passing trans ppl. There are non passing trans ppl who go outside and feel safe, cuz nobody hasn't done a thing to them unless they do something to the person. I live in Connecticut now, but I go back and forward between CT and NY, and I saw this trans woman who look like he could play basketball for the New York Knicks and he got in a fight with this man, cuz the trans person bothered with the other man first. So unless they do something first, nobody is going to harm them for no reason. Well tbh she doesn't need to fall into that privilege stuff, cuz like you said it's not her fault. She was blessed with good genes or she transitioned early, but that's still not a privilege thing though.

      I agree Eric, there's no way to change gender!
      A male cannot be changed to a female.
      And vice versa.
      This is a feminized male,claiming to be female.
      I will just stand with what the Bible says, and that God created male and female.
      One is born either as male or as female.
      This isn't even up for debate, as far as the Bible says!

      Byron Thomas let’s stand by the Bible. and many of it’s messed up contents (well, if we are referring to the Old Testament, the New Testament is pretty chill). but still, which Bible are you referring too? and let’s not bring science in, we all know science can do marvelous things (oh yes, and God too, i guess).

      Mary Viola i said that to make you mad, and you fell right into my trap. that was almost like payback for saying stupid stuff on the internet. Transgender people are a test for us because God is testing us to see if we will judge and turn our backs to our siblings, and them being born in the wrong body and trying to be the way God is guiding them to be is a test to see if hateful people like you will put words in Gods mouth (just like the bible does) and lead them astray from God’s plan. in other words, you might be leading this young lady away from God by trying to act like you’re God and telling them that the way they are is wrong. and about you wanting to know more about her past, the reason why she was probably so hesitant in telling this information is because of nosy people like you. she just wanted to live a peaceful life, until a nosy cousin of yours started to spread around the information that could have ruined her career. either way, why am i this stupid for trying to share my views with you? you’ll just throw them away and claim that you are right. have a good life, ma’am. and the comment above mine has a good point too.

      Ben HatXFT Do you feel better now that you said all that? Did it change your life for the better in any way? There is a lot of contempt and anger in your comment directed at a person you've never personally met. I'm not sure if your contempt is from an experience you had or if it is simply from the terrible perception the media gives to trans people or maybe something else perhaps but either way I am sorry that that is your reaction.
