😂*plays farming game* "It's annoying to have to do all these farming chores". I love them, they are very relaxing, but that made me chuckle.
Harvest wood (with no tool wear) 2x a day (4 wood per tree per day that I have seen in your playthrough) from trees outside your farm, cut down (with tool wear) trees on farm, 200 wood in no time...
Just a tip, as you seemed kind of frustrated this episode, a lot of the things you keep calling annoying can be prevented by a little planning and organizing. Keep space in your inventory and organize it a bit. Check that you've watered everything each day and refill your can at the end. Get in a simple routine daily/weekly and try not to take too many quests if you're having trouble concentrating on them. Think ahead what you may need to prepare. It helps a lot.
There are a lot of funerals in this game. Hard get married if everyone catches the plague!
Sometimes the kids randomly have fruit to trade.
Sleep til morning or sleep til rested are not the only choice. You can slide the "Zzz" up and down to set the time you want to wake.
not finished the episode yet, so not sure if youve realised, but a lot of the kids tend to have daily random fruit theyre willing to trade, just a thought for next time you have one of those fruit quests!
Oh and you can move a chest if it's empty, same as stardew. You will need more than 1 as you go along. They can be inside and outside.

The farm animals are too cute.
You can catch perch in the lake north of the mayors house.
I turned everything off in my game lol
I would prioritize doing the quest with the locket :)
You can pay your taxes from the quest menu instead of Town Hall.

Hardcore for such a cute game. Sometimes I think, the days are a bit long. And other times I think, the days are too short. Lol
Well I did recognize the ghost you saw the previous episode... he looked much like your old friend who was in the ship with you...
He was. But the characters all look so similar so it would of been hard for anyone to notice or remember. Good eye
If I could get past the sick feeling from the 2d characters flipping around, I'd play. I know you can turn off decay, taxes, etc. Which I would definitely do. 😅
Also, finding a married man can be fixed if you buy certain item.
