Seriously, you're superwoman!!! I can't imagine how you're juggling everything, all while being such a calm, positive and down to earth person!!! You're truly an inspiration!!!
GIRLLL YOU ARE AN AMAZING MOTHER!!!!!!! WHEN I SEE YOUR VLOGS I JUST B AMAZE BY HOW MUCH EFFORT YOU PUT INTO YOUR FAMILY. WAKING up super early to pump and take care of the baby, working, studying GOD!!!
I came across your videos a month or two ago and you're just the best. You're so inspiring in the way you are able to jugle all of your responsibilities with such grace. I try to take notes and hope that I'll have some sort of work home balance like you when I'll start my residency.
I definitely don’t feel on my game all the time ... actually very rare that I feel like I have all my things in order 😅 so don’t be too hard on yourself
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY! Wishing you lots of love and happiness for not only this birthday but every birthday to come. Wyatt is getting so big! Thank you for sharing such great videos with us. Have a blessed week. :) Love you guys!
Wyatt's growing up so fast! Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'm only starting basic med student (not intern) rotations in a few months and I often worry about them. Your tips were helpful!
Happy Birthday Jenny. This Valentines Day I was thinking of your Vlog cause I have to return my USMLE Family Medicine book to the New York Public Library. Your child is growing up so fast. Happy Valentines Day.
Happy Birthday 🍰 !!! Thank you for the informative vlogs. I’m so impressed with your ability to balance motherhood and your busy medial schedule . All the best 😊
happy belated birthday!! ❤️☺️ wyatt could also be going through a “leap”. have you heard of the wonder weeks? that’s what we’re dealing with right now lol. my little guy is a couple weeks older and he’s been sooo clingy and fussy. it’s exhausting, i admire you for handling it with so much grace!!
ms jenny as lovely as you & stan are i’m here for wyatt. lol he’s the cutest! my baby is 8 months almost 9 months and she’s crazy about walking (& standing i should say)-then she gets scared & starts screaming!your awesome 😊 love from colorado.
Happy belated birthday! I have recently subscribed and love watching your videos. You and your husband work so well together you must have to be so organised! xx
Hi Jenny! Happy Birthday. My birthday is on Feb 6, so we're close. I'm so sorry Wyatt has been sick. You might want to try blackout curtains for his room. Those worked well for all 3 kids. To help sleep train, I don't get him right away if my 11 month wakes in middle of the night. That gives him a chance to go back to sleep. Hope this helps! 💙
Hey Jenny, if you could help him to drop back down to his bottom a couple times to lie back down while he's still sleepy. Just to help him realize he can come down on his own. My little girl would stand and not realize she could sit down by herself.
Jenny. If he pulls himself up now, is the crib lowered all the way down? We do that we the boys start to stand. For sleeping all night, sleep training or do tough love and let him cry it out until he goes back to bed. We had to do that with our middle and our dr actually told us to do that
How is familymed residency so far? I hear from many people that theres a high burnout especially in family med and its discouraging me from going into the field. I'd really like to have a life outside of medicine and am debating between FM and PM&r
I think physicians have a high burn out rate in general. Just depends on who you eventually work for and what the company demands from you as a physician. I have a couple of friends in PMR. They enjoy it
Is it possible to do pre-med first and then medical school after? Or do I have to work on a major through undergrad and bachelors to finally do medical school?
Wyatt is so adorable!! I’m from Australia and I find it interesting that in the USA (from online observations) that you guys use specialist for a lot of thing that a family doctor could. Is that actually the case? If so why does it happen? Love your vlogs 😊😊
I agree. This does happen a lot and I think it’s because of the culture. For so long society has made people believe that you only go to you FM physician for the common cold, sore throat, or a referral but that absolutely is not the case. I try to educate my patients everyday about the wide scope of family medicine.
Jenny, do you also think some of it stems from a fear of lawsuits? I've found that a lot of times my preceptors will eventually refer out because they are worried of the consequences if they miss something, whereas if they refer out its no longer on them. Sorry to hijack this post Carole!
Nurse Liz all good. It's quite interesting. Australia and America's health systems are so different. I love reading everyone's ideas. Does insurance factor in as well? I don't understand why someone would get a pap at gyn when their FM is more than capable...
Insurance shouldn't play a huge role. Typically your insurance prefers you to have everything be done through your family provider. I always remind people they can get a pap and their gyn care at their primary care, it just seems to be some people preference to have an OBGYN to manage that aspect of their care. Its kinda crazy in my opinion how often specialists are used, it makes it SO much harder for people who really need them to get appointments.
Do you think life balance will be easier once your done with residency, because I really want to go into family medicine but I've seen alot of people say it's hard to balance work and life/family.
Jenny is there any advice you can give for those mom's out there struggling with. Breastfeeding..at night do you bottle feed the pumped milk or breastfeed..did Wyatt have any nipple confusion.my baby is used to the bottle and does want to latch. She keeps crying.any advice.I have to juggle my USMLE exam and attempting to feed this lil one. Sorry for a long msg is there any way I can mail you.Just for moral support.U are such are positive person
Since I work, Wyatt take the bottle of breast milk during the day. Then he nurses when I get home. My friend recommended the comotomo bottles and he has not had any trouble with nipple confusion. Always get the low flow nipples so they actually have to do some work
Hi jenny new subbie god bless your family.. i have question so i want to become a nurse... so you have to be nurse to become a midwife so how many years take you to become a midwife.. keep it going you are amazing mom i have two daugther and i work too and it hard but we can do this
Carolyn, A few of my friends are becoming midwives, just wanted to give you my experience if it may be helpful! They all worked for about 4 years as RNs on a Labor and Delivery floor prior to applying, and they are now finishing up their midwifery programs, which were 2-3 years depending on if you go full time or part time. You certainly don't have to have 4 years of experience on the floor to apply, but it is absolutely SO helpful since it gives you a ton of experience
Seriously, you're superwoman!!! I can't imagine how you're juggling everything, all while being such a calm, positive and down to earth person!!! You're truly an inspiration!!!
you said that so well!
It would be great to hear from your husband what it’s like to be married to resident and how it impacts family life. I love your videos!
I’ve been trying to convince him to do a video!! But he hates being on camera so right now I’m fighting a losing battle. Lol one of these days.
Jenny Le ha it’s not easy being on camera!

Your little guy is getting so big! Thanks for your dedication to us watchers. I’m sure it’s not that easy, even though you make it look like it is. ☺️
Wyatt's growing up so fast! Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'm only starting basic med student (not intern) rotations in a few months and I often worry about them. Your tips were helpful!
Hey Jenny
You should make a video on what you keep on you ID badge or what you keep in your bag that you take to work
Happy Birthday Jenny. This Valentines Day I was thinking of your Vlog cause I have to return my USMLE Family Medicine book to the New York Public Library. Your child is growing up so fast. Happy Valentines Day.

Happy Birthday Jenny Le!! =)
Hi Jenny, what is the name of the app that you do use for watching med videos?
Hey Jenny! What video series do you use?
Jenny. If he pulls himself up now, is the crib lowered all the way down? We do that we the boys start to stand. For sleeping all night, sleep training or do tough love and let him cry it out until he goes back to bed. We had to do that with our middle and our dr actually told us to do that
Ya the crib is all the way down ... he’s just super tall 😅

Thanks for replying. It’s really interesting to see how different countries medical systems work.
Also happy belated birthday.

Hard to say because I’m not actually practicing yet. But I’ve seen it done with many families

You are so inspiring. How did you buy glamorous things while you were in med school? Did you work as well or did your parents help you?
I didn’t really buy anything while I was in medical school. I took out loans to pay for school and cost of living.
Happy belated birthday! 🎉
Happy late birthday 😊
