Sun Visors are manufactured in different designs for different car trademarks. The ones in the video belong to a Honda Civic. Not long ago they were reupholstered with headliner material.
By the way it is not advisable to do it in this materialbecause this item is in constant touch during the day time. The OEM sun visors have mirrors on both sides, but unfortunately the former car upholsterer lost them.
Our new customer requested us to do it without them.We have used beige automotive vinyl to do the wrapping. The sun visors were placed, marked, and cut along the stretch side of vinyl material.
At first we thought to do it in one piece folding over the vinyl from the center upwards leaving a seam allowance to be glued down to the inside edges. But, this design is somehow complicated.
It was necessary to cut two pieces for the two sides.You will find several tips in the video. One of them is the gluing down process of the edges to plastic pieces. We can see three kinds of edges: straight, convex and concave.
The first important key is to glue/secure all around the edges before folding over to the reverse side of sun visors plastics.

I did a set of GMC truck visors and this visor set was not held together the same way with those clips you had in yours... I endedup doing the visors in cloth...and they ended up looking great! I glued the headliner material back together just about a 1/8 inch or so in from the folded over edge and folded the visor on itself. Just in case you (or anyone else reading) come across these visors.
The visors I have just done are sealed edge ones heat glued together, I managed to make a slip on cover, you work still amazes me though

I don't think I've ever seen these visors come apart that easily before! What tool is that? Ive used the staple renover tools and sometimes a skinny flat head...but this looked WAY faster! 😮

Both glue works good, We can use spray glue for bigger project such us a car headliners, car floors, dashboards or furniture upholstery.

You would have to verify your own sunvisor if it is really similar to the one of the video (chevy truck tornado)

I used headliner material as padding. The vinyl goes over.
What are those pliers you are using called and where can I find some?
Those are called orthodontic pliers and canbe found on Amazon, Ebay, etc.
