I bought a very similar stove from china some years ago but the one I bought had brass threads and a flange that rested on the canister flange. This felt much more secure because the weight of the kettle on the stove is distributed between the canister ridge and the threads.
Good presentation. Early models had O ring issues that caused the stove to fail. I gather the O ring somehow prevented the stove from properly sealing with the canister and prevented the Lindal valve from opening.

People are drawn into expensove stuff. Everyone has this, gear junkies want to jump to thr next cool thing. Thry all bought this years ago because it was light, but now that everyone has it, thry webt for the soto windmaster which weights, and costs, much more. I took this on longer hikes to cut down weight. But truth be told, it is almost only good to boil water. It Concentrates the heat in a tiny spot. It's loud and rhr pot stand is narrow.
It was definitely jumped on my the toothbrush snapping brigade as I call them. That being said I still use this very stove years later. To me its a perfect illustration of why we shouldn't assume something has to be an over engineerd over priced bit if kit. Boiling water is really the only thing you should be doing on a hike.
On Amazon although it has a 4.5 star rating, a few reviews said the arms melted, is that possible or do think their just competitors trying to damage the rating? Also many reviews of the King Summit on Amazon seem to prefer and trust the King Summit over the BRS 3000t
I'm not sure how long you would have to have it on before you melted titanium. I have seen people leaving it on until the gas runs out to test it and it was fine. The reality is you have it on for 10 or 15 minutes max. It's really just to boil water or fry something fast. I've had it for years now without issue. I actually carry 2 now as a fail-safe. You can do that because it's so small cheap and light. I'm sure you can get more reliable, but for the price and weight of reliable, I can have like 5 of the BRS stoves. So far the first one I got is still the one I'm using

It's a great stove, plan on getting a split pea lighter by Maratac for mine.
Also a smaller gas canister that i can refill.

They work great 8 years now but they do consume fuel if you don't block the wind.

You can mate, it has an adjustable output. To be honest tho I only use it to boil water so fill power.
