  • This video is regarding GM Full Size Truck Rear 13" Drum Brake Shoes Pins and Springs Replacement (8 lug 3/4 ton wheel type). The vehicle shown is a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 with 6.5L Diesel engine (equivalent to K2500 gear) and the repair is specifically applicable to all 3/4 ton chassis geared GMT400 old body style (OBS) trucks both Chevy, Holden, and GMC. For 1/2 ton trucks the procedure will be very similar, but there are some differences. Applicable to Suburban, Sierra, Silverado, Cheyenne, W/T models across 1995 96 97 98 99 and 2000.
    In this video the rear brake drum shoes, pins and all the springs are replaced.
