Greg, my husband & I are new subscribers & wanted to thank you as well for all your hard work! You don't have annoying playbacks, slow mo, or crazy editing. You are tidy & clear cut with your information & videos without extra fluff and music so the subscriber can hear and see everything without playback 100 times. We stumbled upon you & look forward to more of your POD videos! If you have a system of how to keep track of slogans you've used so not to keep repeating would you mind sharing?🎉😊
Thank you for the kind words and welcome to the channel! In regards to a system to keep track of slogans, I actually don't have one in place. I more so keep a focus on which niches I've been into. I try to keep track best I can of the general niches I'm already in and then I exhaust all the sub-niches within that general niche before moving on to the next. The slogans can be repeated technically but I haven't run into anything notable with repeating them. Hope that makes sense and helps!
@@GregGottfried 🎉thank you for taking that time to reply!
Thank you for the straightforward fluffilLESS videos!!
That's awesome 👍 Thanks for the comment. If you have any questions about any of the videos just let me know!
Great objective comparison of both tools. Thanks for sharing, Greg!!
You are the first person i have heard talk about place it. I wasted alot of time on canva. So glad i came across one of your videos.
It's a game changer compared to Canva! Thanks for the comment!
Thank you for this video, this is exactly what I was looking for today as I just came across Kittl.
I always enjoy your videos, they are always packed with great information. Thank you!!!!!
Glad you like them! I appreciate you taking the time to comment too, thank you!
New to the POD game and first time anyone has mentioned PlaceIt. Very useful and valuable channel. Tx Greg.
Right on! Welcome in and thanks for the comment 👍
Appreciate the effort Greg
Thanks!
Excellent demonstration of both without disparaging either was a fantastic balancing act. Well done!
Thank you! If there's anything that was left out and you're still wondering just let me know 👍
@@GregGottfried wondering, would it be worthwhile doing a Kittl v Canva comparison?
Thank you, Greg! I thought Placeit was just for Mockups. I can't wait to try their templates.
Oh yeah they are just as good for templates! Glad you know about them now, they are a game changer!
Great comparison. Personally, I have been using Placeit for a while now, and it fits my strategy of uploading a lot of good designs quickly and efficiently the best. Interesting to hear about alternatives though.
I agree with you on Placeit. As always, if you run into any questions just let me know 👍
@@GregGottfried Thanks man, appreciate it.
😎👍Very good explained. Thank´s Greg! Wish You all the BEST in YOUR LIFE.
Thank you! 🙌
Thankyou Grig For providing uss Valuable Content♥️♥️
Thank you 🙌
Great information. Thanks
Very useful, thanks!
Glad to hear that, thanks!
great overview thanks...have Placeit and am a newbie but wondering about Kittl. Think that the Placeit + ideogram AI imaging combination works reasonably well too
I love watching your vids. I was wondering if you were going to do a vid on Kittl, as it has the advantage of everything being able to be used without copyright or licensing infringements. You have helped me making my mind up on Placeit. Definitely the way forward for me being a new POD creator. Cheers from the UK!
Great to hear that! Thanks for the comment too!
Hi Greg, thanks for this video - really timely as I was trying to decide which tool is best for a newbie in POD Tshirts. One Q - if i make a design that say has white text that looks great on a dark shirt, do I need to create another version of the design with dark text so it will show up on a white/light color t-shirt? Do I upload these as 2 separate products on a shop such as Etsy or Teepublic. Thanks
Hi Gregg,
I love your tutorial and I have learned a lot. Can you please make a video about how to rank the listings, Search Engine Optimization.
Thanks
Thanks! I'll see what I can put together for you 👍 In the meantime, this is the bulk of how I do it: ua-cam.com/video/RUv8uT8Xh_E/v-deo.html
@@GregGottfried I will use your coupon for Amazon merch on demand.
I am really want to learn the POD because I am in Canada and want to go back to my home country to take care my parents who are very sick. As I will be there, I need income to support them.
Placeit is the king of designs and mockups
Agreed 🙌
I was working with the kittl it's cool the design is top notch. But it's just to slow for me. With placeit I can create a design get in and get out.
How do you make the logo the right size for your shirt or even a mug. I made a nice logo for a mug and it was tiny. I could not figure out how to do it. Thank you
Hey Greg! I had a question. I am starting out with affiliate marketing. I have seen your videos about affiliate marketing before and I have decided to do both blogs and yt videos/shorts. Could you please give me some tips on how I should market the content and how to add affiliate links to videos on yt? I would highly appreciate your help because I like your content very much.
Hello sir ! Could u please tell the recent Top pod sites ???
Merci 🙏
Thanks, Greg…
No worries!
2 questions:
1. Can you change the font style in the templates besides what it shows in both?
2. Can you create your own designs in both, is there one better for these 2 things?
Great tutorials Greg. Question, on Placeit you mentioned you can use mockup. can you be more specific and show how you use it? Is there a way of using my t-shirt design I use from placeit and upload it on the model? And can choose the colors etc...?
I think I've got a video on the channel that I made a while back that goes in deep on mockups on placeit. I think it'll help you a lot 👍
I have a subscription to Placeit. I don't think I'll be changing to kittle. I am quite good with Photoshop etc and can come up with designs that are based on my own creations. PlaceIt enables me to accomplish graphically things that would be much too involved on my own - quickly.
The extra steps you showed kittle requires would be a pain to bother with.
Best to master one and its options than have to learn another less effective method.
Nice! I agree 100% that mastering one is much more effective than trying to be a jack of all trades. Always good to be aware of what other tools are out there but not necessarily needing to use them all 👍
Thanks for the insightful video Greg, I have a question with regard to Placeit, I just signed up for this platform, and noticed that in a previous video about using Placeit for someone new to POD. When I downloaded a template after customizing it that the DPI was 72, and what seems to be required by print providers such as Printify etc.. that they are asking fo a minimum of 300 Dpi, in your video you had mentioned that once you download it, it will be ready to submit to the printer, do I not need to change this to 300 dpi or do we just leave it to them to take care of? Thank you.
Great question. I personally use 72dpi on all sites. I've spent time changing them to 300dpi but it makes no difference. I ordered samples of 72dpi and the print quality is the same. The 300dpi is a recommendation from the websites but not a requirement, and they even say lower resolutions may be okay. I hope that helps clarify!
Hey, great content. On place it can i download in vector format or just png jpeg? Thank you
PNG only but that's all we need for print on demand 👍
Hey Greg, great video! I would say every single tool has its own pros and cons, but I rather, now, Placeit than Kittl, because is easier than to work. Do you have any videos about running traffic for print on demand store? Thanks.
Agreed! I've done just about every strategy to run traffic to POD stores and my strategy now is this ua-cam.com/video/oWh4PP68RsE/v-deo.html and this ua-cam.com/video/RUv8uT8Xh_E/v-deo.html Works like a charm and uses organic traffic so there's no ad spend 👍
Great videos! Thanks.
@@GregGottfried
Hey Greg. What camera do you use? Looks sharp!
Sony A7SIII 👍
Hey thank you so much! What do you think abouth the AI image generator on Kittle? Whenever I export AI generated images on Kittle the quality is not full hd compared to the already existing graphics
Vectorize it first...then download it.
@@larryjoseph1170 thank you so muuch
Do you have a step by step video to learn about print on demand ??
I've got you covered! Here's the video: ua-cam.com/video/oWh4PP68RsE/v-deo.html
is printify good
Hi Sir, please explain how do we know the resolution of the design in placeit as it is not be seen. Thanks.
No worries! They download at 72dpi PNG which is perfect for print on demand 👍
Thanks for the prompt clarification.@@GregGottfried
Hi Greg, I got some questions, hope you'll answer them 🙂😊
Are there any tool for free?
Which mail do you suggest for pod? Gmail or yahoo?
And last, how can I put a phrase or design on t shirt without worrying about privacy?
Thanks a lot.
Great comparison! What about Canva though? You compared Canva and Placeit a couple of years ago, but how does it compare with Placeit and Kittle now since they implemented a lot of new stuff in recent months?
Thanks! I have a Canva premium subscription but I use it for their other features and still find myself not using it for t-shirt designs. Even with their new additions I still find it lacking for print on demand.
@@GregGottfried Ah, ok, thank you for your thoughts!
Print on demand being an online business, do I have to register for a GST / HST number in Canada or the United States equivalent for tax purposes? Thank you!😊
I'm not 100% familiar with Canadian laws but I made this video recently diving deeper into the legal business aspect of protein on demand, hope its helpful: ua-cam.com/video/NbV-awn1lng/v-deo.html
Great, thank you Greg! I'll check it out!
If a person use AI for suggested design or my own, is there a way to verify image, font, etc to prevent copyright problems?
What do you think of doing POD on Tik Tok Shop? Would it be worth it?
I've seen it done, but it focuses on trends which come and go very quickly. I personally wouldn't advise it. This is my personal strategy: ua-cam.com/video/oWh4PP68RsE/v-deo.html and this ua-cam.com/video/RUv8uT8Xh_E/v-deo.html
Dose canva pro have copyright and trademark free elements graphic and content???
Great question! I’ve used it in the past for tshirt designs but have switched to Placeit because not everything on Canva is copyright free, and I felt the design templates were basic compared to Placeit. I hope that helps!
