- Installing brush seals on 2 10x10 roll up doors. @CousinCleatus came over and was a huge help installing these. We did have to go with thicker self tapping screw. The heads kept ripping off the ones that came with the kit. Other than that it was a pretty easy installation. The brush seals have done an amazing job of keeping air and bugs out as well as keeping the shop quieter. I highly recommend the brushes.
I bought mine through amazon but this is the company i got them from

Stumbled on this and I am so glad that I did! I have been looking for something for my garage doors! Bravo!!!
Thank you. I’m still happy with it
This is the brand I was looking at and this was the first video I looked at. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a junk product. Ordering now. Thanks for the video!
I’ve had it installed for a while now and it’s still great. I hope it works just as well for you. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it
Thanks for this, the website you listed has been the cheapest ive seen for roll up brushes. Just ordered 2 of the 10x10 sets for my shop. 🤘
Glad to hear the video helped you. I'm still very happy with the brushes on my shop. I hope you are as well.
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT
Thank you Tim
It came out very nice.
Yes it did. Thank you for helping
Thanks for the video. Plan on doing this to my 26x50x10 building. I have three 9x8 roll up doors on the long side. Also what ventilation vent did you use that I see in the video? Thanks
Sorry for the last response. The exhaust fan I used is a iLiving 12” exhaust fan that I bought from Amazon. The controller went out a few months ago. I replaced the the controller and it’s good to go again. Good luck with your shop and thank you for watching
Great work you guys, that made a heck of a difference! You could almost do a live stream in there with good sound quality now 😜
That's not a bad idea
I should probably do this too xD Nice work!
It made a big difference
Thanks for the video. Im trying to decide if I should buy 3inch brush for top and 2inch for side, or just 3 all the way around. The gap is only like 1 and 1/4 on the sides. Anyone have similar situation that could provide feedback? Thanks.
You can use the 3 inch on the sides. When you install them you can adjust the angle to the door. That’s what I did. I could have used the 2 inch but I wanted to make sure there would be no issues with the fit.
Nice 👍
Thank you
Great video 113 Cycles. Question for you. I had a small 15' x 22' metal building installed here in Houston, TX. You know, hella hot and humid. I put a 1.5 ton mini-split in there but this past record hot summer, I couldn't get it to cool more than 80 degrees. I also have the whole interior closed foam insulated so was stumped.
A few days ago I noticed the huge gap at the top of the roller door and also the side. Would you say this solution would help with that?
It should. That's the same problem I was having before I installed the brushes. I won't say it's a huge difference but it helps. Also keeps alot of the bugs out. My shop is usually around 80ish on the hottest days. I do have a 16ft peak roof so it's a lot of space up high to try and cool. One thing you can do is turn on all your lights at night. Go outside and check to see where the light comes out. It may help you find some more leaks. Congrats on the shop and thanks watching.
@@113Cycles Yep, we're about the same with a 16ft peak roof. Appreciate you taking the time to reply. And that's exactly what we did, turned on the lights last night and here I am today searching for videos for a solution. Gonna order that brush set, thanks again.
It amazes me how large the gaps are on some people garage doors. A small bird or mouse could get through the gaps.
The gap at the top of door was huge. These brushes really made a difference
Great video. Installing aJacor brush kit on my 12x10 roll up this afternoon. What did you use to insulate the inside with? Thanks
2 inches of spray foam on the walls and ceiling. I used polypro sheets with magnets on the inside of the roll up doors.
Thanks. My shop (50 x 40) is fully insulated except for the roll up door. Magnets? Haven’t thought about that before. Thanks for the idea! Sure beats glue.
I posted a video of the roll up door insulation. My doors are 10x10 and it costs about $100 per door for it. I don’t open my doors that often so it works great for me.
Thanks. I’m in MS so mine stays open a lot (for air conditioning 😂) but I’m mainly interested in keeping the heat in during the winter months. I’ll look for your video.
What about water getting in?
I haven’t had any trouble with water. The rain mainly comes from the other sides though.
