I really liked the race scenes in Tokyo Drift. Simple, but intense, especially the final race. The best combination of cinematography, CGI, editing, music and good acting. Tokyo Drift is for me, the best of all 8. Original and was fun to watch. Fast 5 comes second because of how fluid it was with the characters.
As much as I like this list and how they put some of the best races from the franchise here, I feel the number one spot should've went to Brian and Dom's race at the end of the The Fast and the Furious. That race was so legendary and my absolute favorite race of every F&F movie.
1:53 okay you had me confused there because I never really knew what car he drove but when you called it a Crown Vic, I thought you were wrong. You technically are not wrong, but it is a Fairlane Crown Victoria. I dont know if people call those Vics but whatever.

Idk if anyone noticed, I notice there's actually an alternating pattern when it comes to the races. In the sequels that end with an odd number like the 1st one, F5, F7 & F9, the street races are straight up drag races, as opposed to Tokyo Drift & the sequels that end with an even number like 2F2F, the 4th one, F&F6 & F8, the street races have twists & turns. Therefore, I can bet the street race in F10 will have twists & turns & F11 will be a straight up drag race which will be the final/home stretch

First clip he didn't use NOS. He pulled the vacuum line off of the waste gate of the turbo. (The waste gate controls the amount of boost the turbo gives. If it doesn't have a waste gate it just continues to build boost until either the pistons explode from the compression or it blows a head gasket.) The vacuum line goes to a controller that regulates the amount of pressure the waste gate has. If you pull, drill or a break happens on that vacuum line then the waste gate stays closed letting the turbo create pretty much all of the boost that turbo can create. Unregulated
