My idea of the Viltrum empire reimagined is they somehow avoid wiping out half their species in the civil war to achieve their potential. Or they use their tech to bring back those they lost. Then when conquering planets they use their Regen tech to bring back alot of the warriors they killed as a good leverage.
Suggestion: Can you also do a video about the Antares-Terran Empire war? I mean I really wanted to see what traspired during conflict or what was the Liberation of Earth look like just like the Fall of Malaka.

Unless they have some anti orbital defenses it prevents them from gathering in meaningful numbers in the field, as that just provides an easy target
I think we’ve all had a colony get invaded and ignored the actual ground battle, only to be surprised the defenders are still holding out when you finally get back to it.
I remember that happened when I repositioned fleets holding a recently captured enemy homeworld. The enemy retook the system and I thought it lost but when I came back to retake the system the inhabitants had been defending against invasion and bombardment the whole time. What really struck me was the fact that the defenders were essentially fighting off their brethren who came to liberate them. They gained full citizenship after that

I don't know how it's spelled, but that Tai Calnut world's mysterious archives of historical items and other things is DEFINITELY something I'd like to see come back to. Especially if there's things there that might either hint at outside threats or unusual oddities, or stuff like that.
If I'm not mistaken, someone on the The Templin Institute subreddit made an extensive world building for one of the nation in the Confederacy and the various states within it.

you guys got alot of combat units for your story project, not that i'm complaining, but how about an auxillary unit of sorts? Example, The 360th Airforce Civil Engineering. Both my father and an Uncle served in that unit be fore it was disbanded. These where the guy who carried the tool boxes as often as they did their rifles. My father worked on the buildings, minus the wiring and plumbing, while my uncle worked on the aircraft. Yes there were some jets fighters and even those "Flying Gas Stations", and with its disbandment, whose to stop you for incorperating them and others to your story? Hell, i'm even willing to help with it, if you'd let me.

Excellent content as always, although there is something to consider. We never see alien soldiers wearing the uniform. I am certain that they exist, especially in Antares. I am not saying that every third guy or so should be an alien but diversity is to to the Antares Brand of being the home of the Galaxy's unwanted and prosecuted
