There is one small muffler after the y-pipe. From there, it splits to two resonators then to your rear mufflers. Remove the small muffler and replace with a straight pipe for a more aggressive. Leave the other 2 resonators otherwise you will have horrible drone inside the car. Good luck!
@08civicSI4dr The borla 11729 was a bolt on rear section that removed the rear mufflers and attached resonated tips. I removed the borla tips and replaced them with Magnaflow tips
@08civicSI4dr The only other thing done to the car is a K&N FIPK intake. I will be putting a 4" bullet muffler in place of the 3" pipe to make things a little quieter.
Looks like u have no mufflers. Sounds really nice. I like the deep tone but not to Loud. I also have a white gs400 platinum series. Please let me know what u did, planning on getting my done soon.
are the rear resonators removed or just the rear mufflers? sounds good. I have 3rd muffler delete, top speed pro mid pipe and BlitzNurspec exhaust... I'm curious because i want to remove the high flow resonators on this pipe.. thanks
@08civicSI4dr On the 1998 model, there is a small muffler just after where the down pipes meet. I removed the small muffler and replaced it with a straight 3" pipe. This did add a bit of drone insided
