5 years ago someone commented "V8 vs V6 vs i4". So some car guys still don't know that there's more to it then just how many cylinders your engine has.
Lol eh tbh... cylinders Is probably the most important. V8 is best for launch which was just shown. Even if the lexus is the heaviest, that torque from the v8 launched it to number 1.

My son has the same GS well he bought a Bimmer and added some stuff to it he tuned it so now he’s close to 500 hp but he’s back in the GS the Bimmer is broken again 😂
@riceburner82x 2800 stall torque convertor from Precision Industries +better or 275 width rear tires 18/light 19s max if you want performance intake+ tune: -K&N FIPK + dry element cone filter like Fuita or AEM etc... K&N filter may mess up you MAF + SAFC for tune or -Swift Racing Technologies intake with supplied chip (Go SRT if you don't plan to do anymore mods) S&S header (iirc it's discontinued, and get the later batch as the early ones suffer from cracks)

As you can see the 350z has about the same power maybe a tad bit more? Still a cool and quick car but the Gs400 and the 350z left on the exact same time. Probably cause the 350z is a manual. Not hating thought cause I love 350z's, Hondas, and of course the Lexus Gs400!

Probably stock, I had a gs430 as well. But the later vvti 1uz and the 3uz and almost identical power. I think the 3uz has like 5 more hp. The 350 had a longer reaction time I believe
These cars are good for what they are bro, I drive a gs300 and wish I had that v8 power sometimes I’m flooring it and can’t even pull on someone not trying to race me in the highway

@David Srey i remember i used to drive an old 4.3 gmc truck and damn, you had to be dam near 70% throttle just to keep up with traffic when the light turned green. I used to think i was fast too because my engine was so loud 😂😂
