@@akshonclip you’re probably right, but unfortunately, Fords are bad about catching on fire due to bad electrical wiring. Back in the 1980s and early 1990s , they constantly had ambulances with Ford powertrains catching fire. I have two Ford trucks myself and I’ve also had a couple of others in the past and not had problems with fire with them, not yet anyway.
Since there is not a lot of fuel forward of the firewall at any one time, I think the heavy use of plastic components must take some blame for the persistence of that fire.

Not normally anyhow. Pends what area and how much fuel. If it gets to tank that has less than about 20% and mostly fumes inside of tank, it can. But not like a HUGE bomb in the movies. The most dangerous are the STRUTS! They can and have done serious damage to firefighters! The tires sometimes give a small scare if they expand enough from heat and give big pop. In a VERY SMALL amount of autos with pre-charged bumper dampers, that like struts can give a scare. On the inside an airbag going off also may seem like explosion to some. The fun ones are those with Magnesium Alloy blocks! Especially if you are unaware until you hit it with water! They look like huge Fourth of July Sparkler party!

It is the bumpers. They have canisters in them that make the bumper pop out when it gets in a acident so that it pushes away from whatever it hits so the car doesnt get crashed that much.
In some vehicles with force attenuating bumpers, the bumper is mounted on gas-filled shock absorbers that can explode when heated. If you notice, after the loud "pop" where he mentions the bumpers, the tire is still up. At 3:43, you hear the tire deflate.
