Instant Pot Egg Loaf / No Peel Hard Boiled Eggs
This is one of the easiest ways to make hard boiled eggs for your cobb salad or even an egg salad. No boiling and peeling required. Just 5 minutes in the Instant Pot® and you have perfectly cooked eggs without the need of pealing from the shell.

Perfect way to cook eggs for a potato salad.
Yes they are!
I love this idea .. Thanks🐔🐓🐣
You are so welcome!
Just catching up on watching videos. Greg, I've never thought of the instant pot for this! Thanks for this quick lesson!
Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching
What a Great Idea! I Love this! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Clever idea!
Thank you
What a cool way to use the Instant Pot! I've never heard of an egg loaf but this looks awesome! I love eggs! Good idea!
Thanks so much!
What a fantastic idea!
Thank you! 😊 It is so quick and easy
Love the steamer and the silicone lifter.🥚❤️
So much easier getting things out
That seems easy enough will have to try this.
it is super easy, if I can do it, anyone can LOL
I don't have a microwave, and have no intention of getting one, so this is a really great alternative for me! My husband LOVES egg salad!!
It's so good and easy
Yep. I use my favorite Pyrex bowl. Water collected on top is easily removed with a paper towel. I use a pastry cutter in the same bowl to cut it up. Add mayo, mustard, etc. All in the same bowl. Thanks for the video about Heather. She inspired me to try a sourdough starter. Decided I don't like sourdough, but it was fun.
I'll be posting my egg salad video later this week...I do sourdough to but I still prefer good old white bread
Fantastic idea!
Glad you think so!
Thanks for the video and sharing. I've been watching Miss Heather's videos and I've got some great ideas
Awesome! Thank you!
I received one of these pots for a gift 2 years ago and never used it. Now seeing this I will have to try this. I was going to ask if you knew of any place i could find out where and how to use it and then i saw your steak video. My sister made an awesome German potato salad under pressure so i will have to get that from her, Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful!, You will fall in love with it...here's a link to all the recipes I've done so far in the instant pot gregkantner.com/blog/alternative-cooking-methods/instant-pot-recipes
This was such a great idea Greg!! I can't wait to do that next time in my instant pot!! I hate peeling eggs!!
I thought a lot of people would really like this cool idea
Looks delicious can't wait to make it.
Hope you enjoy
Great idea. Thanks for this
You are so welcome!
Great time saving tip! I hate peeling hard boiled eggs! I even bought plastic containers to break eggs into and boil them in them, to avoid the chore. My deviled eggs don't look quite the same, but they don't last long enough for anyone to notice. I'm new to your channel, I've really been enjoying your creativity in the kitchen!
I am so happy you are here. If there's anything you'd like to see me make, just drop me a note. Have a blessed weekeend.
Oh my gosh!! This is cool.
So quick and easy
Cool 👍
glad you are watching
Brilliant! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
That’s BRILLIANT! What a great idea. I don’t have an Instant Pot, but a Breville Fast, Slow, Pro (ridiculous name, however much the same as an IP). I will need to figure out the pressure but this should be worth it. Thanks!
You are so welcome!
thumbs up but this can also be done in the microwave. I use a microwave covered dish cooks in 2 minutes or less and comes out exactly the same in my microwave may take a few seconds longer in yours....let it set a few minutes..... a give it a try.... and less clean up... lol
Thanks for sharing, I will
Love this. Do you think you could soft boil a couple similarly and just scoop onto toast?
Yes, you could do half the time and a quick release.
Wow what a game changer. Thank you. Where did you get the silicone sling and the little pan? I need those.
Beth, I got it on amazon, here is a link to the one I bought amzn.to/3gsDu14 It is so much easier in getting things out of the instant Pot....Thank you so much for watching my channel.
This is fabulous! Where do we get the nifty little steamer pan?
I got mine on amazon, I'll have to look for the link to it
Cathie, I found the link for you amzn.to/2OsCH5d You will love it, there are so many things I have used it for.
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen thanks so much! Looks like a pretty useful tool.
That’s cool, Greg! Any way to do that without an instant pot? I don’t have one.
you could probably put in a bowl inside a pan of boiling water for 15-20 minutes and simmer. I will actually have to try that out and see how it works.
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen thanks, Greg! That’s a great idea💕
I do the exact same thing in the microwave, It works great and only takes about 2 minutes check it after 2 minutes let sit a few minutes some microwaves may take a few seconds longer . I put in micro safe covered dish but have also done in uncovered dish, comes out the same way exactly. less hassle and less clean up .
@@marilyn3826 Thank you so much!!!
I think I have that steam basket but not a lid for it. Where did you find that?
Question: Whete did you acquire that specific steamer basket? Thank you
This is like the one I got... amzn.to/3N4kYvU
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen Thank you
where did you get the pan lifting cradle ? what's it called ? thanks much
I got it on Amazon
Need an Instapot.....
You will love it once you start using it. I use mine at least 3 times a week
You said you were pouring the eggs into a "steamer basket" - that isn't right is it?
It's actually a steamer pan, one you can use for Flan, i put a link in the description
I always have a difficult time peeling boiled eggs 😳
Ah-hah!! Maybe this is the answer. I hope you try it out
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen I bought a steamer basket for my instant pot! Prime delivery scheduled for today 😎
@@tinaclement9200 I love Amazon. You’ll love the basket
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen we have to make at least five pounds of potato salad for every gathering, sometimes more! And that’s a lot of boiled eggs 😳
