Instant Pot - 15 Bean Soup using my favorite @BetterThanBouillon
I love making this 15 bean soup mix, but I don't always have the time to soak the beans and let them cook all day. Using my Instant Pot® I can have dinner on the table in less than 90 minutes. It is so quick and easy and there is no soaking of the beans. Y'all are going to love this version of my 15 bean soup. Let me know what you think about this version and y'all enjoy.

Ingredients:
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 bag of 15 bean soup mix - minus the flavor packet
1 sweet onion diced
8 cups chicken stock
5-7 sausages cut into bite size pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
pinch of red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon oregano
3-4 cloves minced garlic
1 can green diced chilis
1 14 1/2 can diced tomatoes including liquid
Make sure you have your liner in your Instant Pot® and set it on Sauté
Sauté the onions and sausage in the olive oil till sausage is browned
Add the seasonings and cook for 2-3 minutes to allow spices to bloom
Add the diced chili's and diced tomatoes to the pot and stir well to combine
Now pour in the chicken stock and mix.
Pour your sorted and rinsed beans into the pot and stir.
Set Instant Pot® on normal pressure cook and lock lid in place on cooker.
Set timer for 60 minutes and press start.
Let natural pressure release for 15 minutes once done, then you can let out remaining pressure.
Let cool a couple minutes and then enjoy.

I've never tried this. I recently bought a bag. Watching intently.
It’s very easy as you can see.
Thanks for the video, your 15 bean soup looks delicious and so does your corn bread..will make this soon !
Hope you enjoy
Bean soup has always been my favorite! My mother never made beans of any sort but Campbells Bean with Bacon was always on the shelf for me. I still keep a couple cans on hand but do often make this 15 bean mix. Will have to do it in the IP next time and change up the seasonings some. (We don’t like the pkt that comes with them)
I never use the packet either.
I don’t have an instapot but love the soup.
You can do it in a crock pot too
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen I do and on the stove top too. Love it.
Aww, now that's a lovely soup. Yes please to that!! Will def give this a go. Question: when you add corn to cornbread, does it then have to he refrigerated? Tfs! I ❤ homemade soup. 🥣😊
No, I have never refrigerated it myself. If you do though, make sure it is in a zip lock bag or tightly wrapped, or the refrigerator with dry it out very fast.
@@gregscumberlachiakitchen Thx! 🙂
👍👍👍 here and up top Greg Always ☺️☺️. The soup looks delicious 😋😋. Question ❓ I par cooked a London broil to can ( chunks,) I did my broth but then my back said Go sit down. So now everything is cold, can I can it from cold or do I need to reheat it? Thanks so much 💕🙏🙏 Kendra
You can can it cold as long as you also use water in your canner about the same temperature. It will take longer to get to the boiling point. I think you’d be better off heating it up first. Cold pack/cold water, hot pack/hot water
Yes, absolutely
Is it just me or did you lose the voice once he started cutting the sausage? I couldn’t hear anything after that. I don’t know if it’s just my computer acting up or what. But thanks for sharing.
Where did you get the bag of soup?
💖👼🏻🌺
all grocery stores have it, even Walmart. here's a link to it on amazon so you can see what it is... www.amazon.com/Hambeens-Bean-Soup-Ounces-Pack/dp/B00U9WM9YO/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=15+bean+soup&qid=1635503761&sr=8-2
My question is with 15 bean soup how do you make chili with it
Just substitute the kidney beans for the 15 bean soup mix...don't use the season packet
Do a cooking video and don't show us the food cooking. 👍
