I had a 70. Fiat had a recall because the front struts tore thru the thin bodywork up front and would cause a crash and death from hard lt or rt turn! No joke reinforce the area of shock towers

I have an early 65, bare metal restored in the mid-90s and only done 15.000 miles since.
Did you end up using all those hubcaps?
Yes I did! I put both on and ended up with the dog dish style
