This is a picture comparison between Ronnie Coleman 2007 and Phil Heath 2018. In both cases these guys lost there Olympia titles so i thought it was a fitting comparison.

Phil Heath wins this comparision quite easily. Ronnie Coleman was too riddled with injuries at this point. His left lat was torn, his left triceps looked torn in the Rear Double Biceps and Heath "only" had a hernia. So Heath has probably the less severe injury and it's not as drastic. The "melting" of Heath's quads is interesting, it really looked better in his earlier years. It does not look injured however and muscle shape is genetic above all else so I am guessing his lower quad might've outgrown the upper portion. In a similar vein: Does anybody else feel like Coleman got injured over his career in a way that made it difficult for him to properly hit the Front Lat Spread? He seemed to flare out so much wider in his younger years and he definitely looked more comfortable whereas he looked pained later in his career. You can also notice asymetry in both Front and Rear Lat Spreads where one shoulder looks to be shrugged higher than the other maybe due to lacking mobility as a result of injury. Nah, that year all the guys had terrible colour. I think they have to use whatever the sponsors give them, and that year it was a greeny almost blackish colour? Everyone looked like shit!

I suppose it's good to be sun wary, now we know it causes skin cancer, but people need to experiment and find which fake tanning products look the best - and then not overuse them!!
