Hi mate, tnx for this video, i can manage flashing with klipper, but for marlin your video is a life saver. Had to install a lot of software to manage and learn new stuff !
@@EdwardBraiman Hey that worked well as far I tested in USB with pronterface, but when I wrapped it up and powered through the actual printer, the vents run but the LCD screen keeps blank... Any ideas about what can be wrong
If I had set up my SKR 2.0 board (STM32F429 MCU) with the current stable release of Marlin 2.0 and it seems to work, is there a reason to download, configure and replace it with the "bug fix" version? Also, is there an easy way to compare the configuration files from my configured stable release version and the bug fix version so I can transfer all my settings to the bug fix version? I second that comment about setting up a wifi module on the SKR 2.0 board. I missed my chance to purchase Raspberry Pi Zero 2 at Microcenter and now they, and all reputable sellers are out of stock. My best option is likely the add-on board. Either the BTT module or a generic from Aliexpress.
There might not be a big difference. Others have asked how to address different chipset, so I explained how to identify and load. They maybe almost the same.
The 429 chip seems a little bit faster of a chip at 180mhz and has built in TFT controller, I have both boards and have been having issues getting my Z probe to not be triggered all the time on the 429 board. I will try this bug fix and see if it solves my issue...I hope..thanks ..
Hey I have the SKR 2.0 board and I can set up auto bedleveling fine with reprap, but with marlin in the config file I am very confused, on setting it up. I can't figure out a probe pin and wiring to get it working. I used PE4 and PE5 for the pins for the bltouch to change, but none seems to work. can you clearify some things with marlin
This is still a CF of epic proportions. Manufacturers of motherboard needs to step up with pre-rolled firmware where we can enter basic configuration parameters and get these boards work. This is ridiculous
Chip shortage is chip shortage :) Think Aquila G32/H32 ;) The latter being shit, and not open source. See where were heading? Ender 6, 4.3.1 board with 2 x Steppers crippled?, yup, chip shortage is chip shortage. Be glad you have the originals. You do don't you? ;)

The tutorials are repetitive by design and focus only on one or two aspects.
Thanks.
Very helpful video, thanks!
You're welcome.
Man, thank you so much, that was pretty helpfull!

There's more videos in playlist. The playlist link is in description.
@@EdwardBraiman Amazing,! appreciated

I cant get Connection via USB with F429 Board any Idea? Also no Connection to TFT35 -E3 V3.0
There's a discord link below, either myself or someone else can walk you thru issue in general chat.
@@EdwardBraiman Thanks

BLT generally has issues due to extension wire. Some user splice wire to get probe working.
Also the a link to Discord where several different people have worked with it.

I get where you're coming from, but unfortunately i do not work for the manufacturer. They do have example files, but they also can have issues.
@@EdwardBraiman for all the grief of trying to get my btt skr2 working, i threw it in the return bin, linux cnc and stepper drivers, I'm over it
You do realize there's a Discord link in tutorial that's free and helps a lot of people. I'm online right now.
@@EdwardBraiman I no longer care, I'm putting Linux CNC and controller cards on it I'm done giving this half baked garbage my time.
I'm confused by your initial post. Do you have experience working with 3d printer boards or loading or building firmware?

I'll test tonight. Do you mean z-axis?
