CT3 Full Product Overview

Comp-Tac's General Manager Gordon Carrell, gives a detailed overview of the CT3 Level III Retention Holster.
The CT3 is a Level 3 holster that uses friction, an ejection port lock, and a hood that must be released before the firearm can be drawn. The CT3 is designed with the intent that a master grip is achieved before fully withdrawing the weapon. This combined with the autolocking ejection port lock and the intuitive self-activated hood system makes this one of the fastest Level 3 holsters available on the market today. This holster is available for fits with lights and in fits without lights.
The CT3 comes with a belt mount and integrated drop offset already assembled, however among the list of additional accessories is also our new Mid-Ride Belt Mount and the QLS Adaptor plate, which can be used to mount the CT3 to a variety of mounting systems.

I've noticed some people complaining that certain holsters made for use with a light have an open gap that exposes the trigger and can become dangerous if the holster is used with a weapon without a light. If I were to use the CT3 model made for use with a weapon light on a weapon without a light would it still be safe?

Am I able to get an open ended holster to accommodate a compensator?

Will it work with the SIG AXG PRO? When pressing the button to release the ejection port block, does it stay open as to not relocate into the slide cuts? Does it stay unlocked until the weapon is returned?

The current sig models we have for the CT3 are only for the P320 series at this time. When engaging the holster the hood opens and remains open until the user secures the hood after holstering their weapon. The ejection port lock returns to its locking state after the weapon is removed from the holster and will auto-lock upon the weapon re-entering the holster.

I'm about to invest some big money on making a holster for this brand of guns its obvious there's a untapped market here. like they say ''if you build it they will come''.

Are there different iterations of this holster? I’ve seen a version that has a flap that goes over the optic in addition to the hood
