I'am a Pima( full blood ) however my kids are not they have 1/8 white and 1/8 black ..This is what I said to my grandson "Get your education and better your life and not become another typical Indian " he says to me (16 yr old) which is ? I said a drunken Indian..,I remember back in the 80's passing through Albuquerque on our way to Oklahoma all we saw was drunken Navajos walking, hitch hiking. .I don't believe I'm racist or prejudiced.. most of my relatives are a mixture of white ,some mexican, black ...I don't believe that about mormans about them being perfect no such thing as perfect, there's always room for improvement, lol 😆 I could go on and on about what you two were talking about but I'll stop
I am born and raised in Montana and the reservation I am from was hit hard, we lost over 50 people and not all of them had unhealthy lifestyles like you say. That was pretty harsh. I and most of my community still wear masks, most tribes still have mask policies in place.
My reservation still do ,wear masks I mean, our Governor did remove the mandatory masks when they started the vaccination, but he just recently put it back in place since the children were now coming down with it ,the vaccination doesn't mean you won't get covid it just means if you did get even after vaccinated it won't be as bad as it would be with out the vaccination
@@dorismorgan9445 right, my family is still very careful as we have a grandson with cebral palsy. Our govenor opened our state wide open and made policies so the counties cannot make thier own policies, I hate that something as scary as covid has become political.
In all your conversation about religion you never said how or when you came to Jesus. Your stories about you childhood makes it sounds like you were not brought up in the church.
