have you noticed the little windows above the indicators and beneath light button? Are they supposed to blink? I struggle to tell if my indicators are still on during the day! I feel as if they're supposed to blink .👎🏽
Great video, love it. Have you tried on rain or wet surface. Is the rear mudguard long enough to stop the water? I mean splash or dirt in the back. Thanks👍
Is this scooter smaller that the Lite Plus regarding overall frame/board size? I’m aware of the tyres but in terms of it being more slim line/nimble compared to the lite plus. The website doesn’t give a break down of measurements on the mini . Thanks love your videos
Thanks mate, yes this one is smaller by about 2 inches on the deck length and doesn’t stand so high, this one fits in my car boot, the lite plus required the seats putting down to fit 🛴👍
@@ChargeandScoot Thank you :) How much does it impact handling, stability and cornering? I'm trying to decide between the Lite Pro and the Mini 8. I currently have the Xiaomi 365 Pro. You should be getting some commission for this :)
Ah ok, thanks for the reply, so is the one you’re riding here this one. theescooterco.com/collections/kaabo/products/kaabo-mantis-mini-electric-scooter
Hi mate. I actually bought on of these before I started watching your videos. I have a question for you. My mantis has sort of a screeching noise on low end speeds. Is yours the same? Or has anyone else experienced something like it? Thank you
@@ChargeandScoot Thanks for the reply. I actually uploaded a video where that noise can be heard quite a lot. If you're interested and are able to take some time to check it out, would be great. Lemme know what you think afterwards, if you do. Cheers :) ua-cam.com/video/fhFGbqK0JbY/v-deo.html
Hi mate, just watched most of your video and can’t really hear anything out of the ordinary but just wondered is it when braking? As I had the cheaper version (not minimotors) and with the model I had the regen braking can be set on or off but with my Wolf (minimotors) I can select regen braking strength 0-5, just wondered if your braking was set high and that was the noise your talking about? As regen braking does make a noise
@@ChargeandScoot no, I have regen braking on lowest setting (1). I just feel like the motors make this screeching noise between 15 and 25 Km/h, then they just run smooth and quiet as they should!!
Thanks a bunch for doing these videos. There isn't much info out about this scooter yet, so it's nice to get some real world numbers.
Thanks mate, that’s my intention, to get real life content out so people can make up their own minds 🛴👍

Yeah I’ve noticed them but they don’t work 🤷♂️
i suggest to put a steering dumper ,
Oh shit, I have a Kaabo, where did you get that accessory rack and the phone holder? My first scooter and I'm feeling stuff out. Thanks, and cheers!
Hi, Really Nice Video, where have you bought the 2nd handlebars? babybike??? thanks

It’s not bad but some water still gets you haha
@@ChargeandScoot Ok thanks, good to know 👍
That ZIP from front bag don't make that ding ding noise?
Where i can buy the red bar to put light and phone holder

Looks so fun to ride!! Everyone in the kaabo community wants to know what the real life range is on the mini DUAL?
Nice Video. Have you changed any bolt on your Mini, brother?
Hi, no I’ve not changed any bolts on this one and haven’t heard of any issues or experienced any yet on the mantis 8 🛴👍
How tall are u ? I’m 5’9 wondering if it might be too small for me ?
Mate I'm stuck between buying a dual mantis 8 or a zero 8x as a second scooter from a wide wheel pro. Which one u reckon is better.
Great video, where did you buy the kid handle bars? I need that for when I ride around with my boy.
Hi mate, I got them from MY BEST SCOOTER 👍
@@ChargeandScoot how specific
wow your rides are always so beautiful. where is this again?
Gloucestershire UK
Help! I’m trying to change the rear tyres on my mini8 and it’s not simple, do you think you might be able to help, thanks Simon
Hi have you damaged something with this kind of off road🤭? Thanks for the video
This is so helpful. This is the “Mantis Mini” not the “Mantis Mini Pro”, correct? Where did you purchase from?
Yes mate this is the mini, bought from Kaabouk (link in description) 👍
Thats it. Im getting one.
Have you found any problems with the smaller wheels? Thanks for these videos :) :)
It is definitely a bumpier ride than the standard mantis 10, but I also prefer the more rigid suspension as it’s doesn’t bottom out at all 👍

Cornering is fine mate and has wider tyres a bit bumpier ride but it’s ok as don’t bounce around or bottom out 👍
Did you ever change the voltage cut off to 40?
Yes I did but never actually took that low to cutout, but allows the voltage to go below 42.5V when under load without cutting out
The wheels on this model are solid aren’t they?
No but that’s what I thought as it said it on website but they are tubeless

Yea that’s it
Great, thank you, will be my first scooter so I think this is the one I’ll go for.
Is this scooter ok in the rain i.e waterproof?
No mate not waterproof
Is it waterproof?
Unfortunately not
@@ChargeandScoot Ok! Thanks

I have a Wolf now but no didn’t get any screeching noises really, I had get some noise from dirty brakes but that’s about it I think

Is the scooter small or is it just fine? I worry about foot room on the deck.
Is this water resistant enough to ride in light rain?
I have done when been caught out in it and had no issues but it’s not rated to be water resistant so I always try to avoid riding in the wet
2022 models now are ip54 rated
Bonjour, Max speed please?
About 35mph
Charge and Scoot Thanks
Dual motor / 1 motor
Hey Paul... is the suspension adjustable like the mantis 10?
I have not tried it, but I believe so as it’s the same design with the bolt going up through
